Ch 16 : Saving Mikoto

A few days soon passed, and now Kushina was working in Rochen's shop.

There was some lucky encounter here and there, but until now, Rochen still kept things normal between them.

He had not yet made any more moves toward Kushina.

But it's not like because he had given up after Kushina was engaged to Minato.

The reason was simple, he was waiting for Kushina to be the one that make the move.

The past few days, Rochen could already see that the frustration in Kushina's face was real, and it would not be long until she succumbed.

Especially considering that Minato had once again left the village for the mission, and Kushina was lonely.

However, today was not the time for Kushina yet.

Even if he waited patiently for Kushina, the process would still take a few more days. Therefore, Rochen decided to go for Mikoto first.

He waited till the evening when the Uchiha guards let their guard down a bit before he sneakily entered the Uchiha residence.

Inside the Uchiha secret room, Mikoto looked at the ceiling with a blank look.

Just what is she doing?

She gave everything, even let herself be held by Rochen for the sake of Uchiha, and now this is how are they gonna treat her?

If not for the baby in her belly, Mikoto which took a heavy hit on her mind, would have long committed suicide.

But now, all she could do was just wait for the verdict from the Uchiha Clan, hoping they would at least have mercy for the baby in her tummy.

'Another lonely night where I am alone.. Ha.. ha.. ha… is this my fate…'

She thought It was going to be another lonely night for her. It was then…

"Hmm? What is it? The mistress of Uchiha is being treated like this. Those guys surely are ungrateful bastards, aren't they?'

A voice came from the side. Mikoto quickly turned her head only to see Rochen standing there with a mysterious smirk on his face.

Yet, there seemed to be no feeling of fear when she saw Rochen. Instead, she felt happy when she saw Rochen standing in one of the corners of Uchiha's secret room.

Rochen-!"

Discovering Richen, Mikoto gasped out in pure shock.

Mikoto's eyes became extra round like a rabbit's as she asked cautiously.

"Are…. are you really Rochen?"

"Can't you recognize the man that had made you squeal like a pig?!"

Mikoto swept her gaze all over Rochen with a stunned expression still etched on her face, her voice naturally rising higher.

"Rochen, quick, you must go now!"

"What, you clearly missed me so much, but now you wanted me to go?"

"You…. It's not the time to joke."

Seeing Mikoto's worried expression, a small chuckle was let out from Rochen's mouth.

"Hey, don't worry. Anyways, I'm not going without you, okay?"

"You…"

Since Rochen had made up his mind, Mikoto also knew that it was useless to try and persuade him. She acted like she didn't care, yet her heart felt warm.

When her family had crossed her, the only one that cared about her now was only Rochen, and it slowly made her grow some dependence on Rochen.

Rochen also noticed this. A smile appeared in his mouth as he went closer to Mikoto and brought her to his arm.

"But to think you will be this skinny just after a few days.. they must have treated you worst."

"Humph, I'm okay. You don't need to pretend you care for me."

Nonetheless, even though she said things like that, she didn't have any intention of letting go of Rochen, Mikoto's face had a red blush on it, and the two stayed in that position.

Unconsciously, thoughts began to rise in Mikoto's mind.

If there was no Fugaku, or if she was not an Uchiha, would they be able to stay like this forever?

Still, she quickly shook that thought away.

There's no use grieving over a situation. Right now, her priority was to find out why Rochen was here.

"So.. why are you here?"

Mikoto asked, but she still let herself be embraced by Rochen and didn't push him away, enjoying the warmth from their body sticking close together.

"Hehe.. can I not visit you? My beautiful Milf.."

"Humph, like I would believe you!!"

Mikoto pouted. Nonetheless, even though she knew it should just be a lie, her heart still grew warm when she heard Rochen at least care a bit toward her.

"Hey, I'm not lying okay."

"?? "

"Today I'm here to take you away. But not only to take you away from this place, but I will also take you away from the Uchiha and make you mine. Mikoto.. from now you are mine and only mine."

Rochen smirked, to which Mikoto felt a storm would be coming soon for the Uchiha. Yet for some reason, only a sense of anticipation rose from her heart.
