{W-what's going on.} The boy thought in fear.

Thankfully he didn't feel that much pain as the ground was filled with large leaves.

"Grab him." the chief ordered coldly.

"H-huh?" Before the boy could understand what was happening, he felt the pressure disappear. Instead, two big hands pressed him down before lifting him up.

He turned his head behind and saw the two village guards.

"Uncle Guards, what are you doing?" The boy asked in fright.

"Hehe, this kid still doesn't know what is going on." The first guard spoke, laughing creepily.

"W-what do you mean?" The fear and confusion grew bigger.

"Fine, I will tell you." The guard smiled. "We are robbing you, what else?"

"Huh? Robbing?" The boy muttered.

Then look of realization appeared on his face. His eyes opened wide. He looked at the Chief in a hurry.

The Chief was smiling while looking at the ring.

"N-no, it can't be." The boy muttered in denial.
