Bom!
Bom!
Bom!
The giants footsteps sounded in the silent beach. Water rushed from his body and fell to the beach.
In an almost an instant, everything in sight was drenched in water.
The green man on the cliff stood there dumbfounded. He watched the scene of the one know only in legends as he got out of the sea as though he just got out of a little pond.
After a few more seconds, the man got out of his stupor, because on the head of he giant creature that appeared, his queen still held on tightly. If she was to fall, there was no need to think of what shall happen.
That was a 200 meter fall after all!
So he ran off the cliff was with his greatest speed.
"Stop!"
He shouted as hard as he possibly could.
"Please, lord creator... stop!"
But the giant did not seem to hear him. It seemed instead to be musing over its own plight.
"Where am I?"
The giants voice could be heard from high up in the sky.
The man however was unable to understand a thing what it said.
He continued running off trying to catch up to the gigantic creature, but it seemed futile.
After all, every one of its steps seemed to propel it 30 or so meters away.
The little man who watched all of this was this unable to catch up.
By the time he reached the first foot print the man made on the beach, the giant was already hundreds of meters away.
As the little man was trying his best to catch up with the giant, the giant was still thinking of his own issues.
The giant stepped towards and climbed over a hill that was not too as away. He looked around with confusing clearly portrayed in his eyes. It seemed as though he was confused on his whereabouts.
So he climbed the hill in hopes of having his doubts cleared.
A minute later, he giant reached the top of the hill and saw the land which he now found himself at.
And what he saw shocked him.
The land was barren and had barely any bit of green left. No tree was in sight nor was there any sign of civilization that could shed light on where he was.
When he looked back, he saw the endless sea looking back at him.
The land was very large compared to him, but if one compared it to where he originally lived, the whole place was no larger than an island.
A very small island.
"Something tells me I am not in Kansis anymore. Well, i was not in Kansis in the first place though. No... be serious Zenn."
Yes, this very giant was Zenn. The very same young man who just found out not long ago that his illness has progressed a stage higher than before.
"Why am I here? Did i die?"
Zenn was a 20 years old this year. A man his age has many things he could find to entertain himself. Parties, alcohol, girls or drugs. But Zenn was not that kind of person. He doesn't drink alcohol nor does he do drugs. To this day he has yet to graduate from virgin high. As for parties, even if he was cool enough to be invited, he was not interested.
What he found to shoo away boredom was instead stories. Novels, manga or anything else that would be termed as nerdy, he like it all. And as an avid reader of fantasy novels, it would be a lie if he was to say this was the first time he encountered this.
"Nobody reinarnates without reason, right?"
Truth be told, he would really like to have reincarnated. In fact, he has dreamed of it many times before.
But when it really happened to him, things he had never thought of when he dreamed came. When this 'dream' of his was suddenly granted, he was not happy.
"Mom. Little sis..."
He looked at his watch and started thinking.
"I still have 24 hours before i need to change mom's nutrient packet. If no one is around to change it..."
But he then remembered something else.
"Today is friday, so Ona will be returning from school tomorrow morning. That means she will be able to notice that i am gone."
Ona was was Zenn's little sister. She is barely around as she lived at an all girls school. Last week, she had told him that she would return this week.
"I guess that problem will sort itself out. Even if am not around, those two will still be fine as uncle Ben will surely come to help."
With that said, he sat down on a rock.
The temperature was very much chilly due to the few gusts of wind that came by. Plus, his wet clothes did not help at all in warming him up.
"What now," he asked himself.
No one answered. But there was no need for an answer though, as he has read many novel with a simillar situation as his own.
As such, his primary objective was then picked.
Survive.
The only problem with this objective is that, in those many novels he has ready, a crucial object was always included. An object he could not see in his sight.
Trees.
"Well, I'm ready to get my cheat."
In pretty much 99% of all the novels Zenn had once read, there was a cheat.
A cheat could be anything and everything that makes the main character special from all other being in the novel.
It could be a special ability that only the main character has. It could be a weapon that makes him plow through every trouble he has. It could be future game knowledge. Or maybe it could be a magical game like system that forces him to do naughty things to get points.
Clearly, as he was, he could not survive without said cheat.
But when was it coming? Was it even coming?
After all, there was a few novels where the main charcter has nothing special at all except their undying will to go foward.
"But I'm too lazy for that..."
"Lord creator... could you help me down."
As he was still musing over his late system, a voice that seemed a bit familiar to him could be heard.
...
