Amanda muttered some profanities in her sleep and this caused Santa Claus to smile as he brought up the cold compresss to her head again.

They had taken the child back to her uncle who was so happy and thankful and Santa Claus watched Amanda warn him vehemently about making any mistakes and allowing the child be kidnapped again

There had been no attacks these couple of days and Santa Claus was left to wonder whether that was the end or there were still more coming. He remembered Amanda had said something about the government knowing about their existence and he could not imagine that they would do nothing after the death of one of their own.
