The next day I stood outside as Ravenna's carriage rolled inside along with some other carriage. It opened revealing a smiling Ravenna who looked too pleased to be here. The other carriage opened and Arnold and Thea.

This was the condition Azar had made. If I wanted to stay here with my mother, Ravenna and two other people from our kingdom have to be with me. It was clear what his intentions were. They were here to keep watch and report to him every single activities that I do here.

For some reason, Azar doesn't trust me. I still don't have any idea why he doesn't. But I've come to one theory, he is trying to hide something from me and I was going to figure it out. I was willing to play the docile and naive wife if that was what was going to please him. I would let him think he was winning now but I was going to uncover the truth.
