It was difficult for me to get Arianne alone so I could figure out what was going on. Because she was family of the bride, she had to go sit with Christine and Irene. Arianne looked uncomfortable to be where I mother was, that much I can tell from where I was sitting. The way she sat so rigid and flinched anytime her mother's arm brushes hers made me want to be protective of her. But I couldn't do anything, not from where I was sitting anyway. Also, the way she made eye contacts me told me she didn't want me to cause a scene because our friends were still in the dark, they didn't know about it.
