"Calista!!!" The next minute he was screaming her name in absolute shock, unable to move from his spot after witnessing what he never thought he dreaded. His blue eyes instantly widened with terror as he noticed her blood stained dress. 

Everything happened so fast that he had no time to process the situation thoroughly, nor was he given the chance to make the right move and his fists clenched at his side.

The world painfully slowed down as the sight of her falling into the icy cold water beneath continued to replay in his head, and something in him snapped after hearing the splash sound that indicated he wasn't having nightmares.
