Chapter 161: A family

As I parked the car I used and was about to open the door, I saw Ryker arguing with Gavril. Ryker only wears jeans, and his lean yet muscled upper body is on display, while Gavril wears a business suit.

"You can't decline the wedding, Ryker," I heard Gavril tell Ryker, which made Ryker almost punch him. 

"I called the wedding off, Gavril. Didn't you receive the message? I chose to be with my mate. Period. If you want to marry that girl, go ahead," Ryker answered, trying hard to calm himself. 

"This is so for the sake of our pack, Ryker. You were willing to do this before, weren't you? Why the sudden change?" Gavril said in his calm voice. 

"Sorry, but I changed my mind. I would rather be with the one fated with me than marry someone just for the pack's sake. I'm not sacrificing my happiness over it. You are the Alpha, and you should be the one to sacrifice.
