Chapter 5: Mana

Due to excessive stress and lack of nutrition, she died.

Gu Jin stood up elegantly.

She has no idea what the future beholds for her though she will never give up a chance to live.

Even though it meant fighting, struggling, or killing.

Gu Jin ignored her.

Her charming eyes were filled with an unknown fire.

The fire which had passion, the will to live, the will to conquer this world.

Today the Mighty Mage of the Era was born.

A day that will be remembered by all the living and non-living beings of Magic World.

Noticing her eyes the young girl was shocked to the core.

Her minions who were on her either side had a fearful look on their faces.

The aura around Gu Jin was extremely dangerous.

A hint of murderous intent, with a passion as well a look of a queen.

She can completely stand out if she were to stand in a crowd of 100000 magicians.

Gu Jin ignored them.

They don't stand a chance against her anyways.

Viewing the departing back of Gu Jin a word popped into their mind.

'Conquerer Queen'

Gu Jin made a beeline toward the Magic Awakening Hall.

Few orphans passed by her.

Their expression was of shock.

Was this the same Gu Jin who had a look of despair all the time on her face?

Her gloomy aura was now changed to an aura of a Queen.

Gu Jin ignored all and arrived at the hall.

Every orphan has lined up according to their age.

An average person awakens magic at the age of 16.

Though there are always exceptions who are able to awaken the magic at the age of 15.

To awaken magic one must awaken Mana within them.

Those who are unable to awaken Mana will remain a waste for the rest of their life.

Typically a person awakens Mana from the age of 4 to 15.

There are also those who awaken Mana after the age of 15 but they usually are unfit for the Magic.

Since the host arrived at the orphanage at the age of 4 she suffered from constant bullying.

Though it was quite common for orphans to be unable to awaken Mana at the age of 4.

She went to take a token.

All the orphans were watching Gu Jin.

Some had disdain in their eyes, some had teasing looks in their eyes and some just looked at her impassively.

Even though they were not evil, they were not innocent too.

But she didn't blame them.

If she was in their place she would have ignored the host too.

Yet there was still a majority who bullied the host.

For them, Gu Jin can only fight back and bully them greatly.

She shook her head and stood at the end of the line.

Just then the immature young girl who taunted Gu Jin at the dorm entered the hall.

She glared at Gu Jin and stood in the front section of the line.

Soon the members of the Magic Awakening Association came and started their speech.

"Welcome all to the 2626th Awakening of Magic Day."

"Today we will focus on the awakening of Mana."

"Mana is a source of magic that decides the potential of a person."

"Mana is the most vital aspect of Magic."

"Mana is generally divided into six colors Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Indigo."

"Red means a person can awaken the magic only up to Primary-Level Mage.

Orange means a person can awaken the magic up to Intermediate-level Mage.

Yellow means a person can awaken the magic up to Advanced-level Mage.

Green means a person can awaken the magic up to Super-Level Mage.

Blue means a person can awaken the magic up to Emperor-level Mage.

Indigo means a person can awaken the magic up to Heaven-level Mage."

"Those who are able to awaken the Mana will venture into the adventure of Magic World."

"We will admit you to the School Of Magic."

"So is everyone ready?"

All the children present shouted in unison."Yay"

Gu Jin stared at the member of the Magic Awakening Association and always felt that the information is incomplete.
