Robert Meets A Beautiful Lady (Chapter 14)

In the previous Chapter 13,

Robert says, "We have 2 choices, one is to find Elisa another is to find Joe. Which one will you choose?"

Michael says, "I know where Elisa is but where are we going to find Joe?"

Robert says, "Oh yeah, we will find Elisa first but how are we going to teleport over that place?"

Michael says, "I don't know."

While they talking something shakes the train, causing the train to shake violently.

Robert tries to hold on to the wall of the train.

Michael tries to hold on to the wall of the train but he is feeling dizzy. Michael falls to the ground.

Robert heard something crash on the ground but the train is shaking violently he just couldn't care much.

"Ah... Michael, where are you?"

There is no sound or response.

"Michael, where are you?"

Robert steps on something, and he vanished into the air. Robert was teleported into a different environment.

Robert touches his head, "Ouch, where am I now?"

Robert can't see properly because of the smoke in the air.

Robert steps on something, "Ah..."

"Am I going to fall to my death?"

Suddenly a hand grabs Robert.

Robert turns his head and looks.

Robert sees such a beautiful lady which he has never seen in his entire life.

She asks, "Are you alright?"

Robert says, "Yes, thank you."

She asks, "Why are you here?"

Robert says, "I am lost."

"Where did you come from?"

Robert says, "I was on the train with my friend and I was teleported here. I know what I am saying is out of the mind but it's true."

"No worries, I believe what you said. Come to my house it's nearby. We can talk more about it."

Robert says, "Okay, thank you."

Robert says, "Your house seems far from here; why did you come out?"

The lady smiles, "I was walking around to see if I can make a garden here."

Robert says, "This place is far from your house."

The lady says, "Because when I am at the window I can see this place and it's so bare, I thought if it's filled with flowers it would be nice."

Robert looks around true this place is only greenfield.

The lady is slim and beautiful.

Robert says, "It's dangerous for you to leave your house alone, and what if someone kidnaps you."

The lady smiles, "So far no one dares to kidnap me."

They walk to the mansion of the lady.

"My lady dinner is prepared."

Robert looks at the man.

The lady asks Robert, "Are you hungry?"

Robert says, "Yes."

The lady asks, "What do you like to eat?"

Robert says, "I love to eat steak with carrots."

The lady says, "Make for him a steak with carrots."

The butler says, "Yes, my lady."

Robert looks around the house it's a beautiful mansion, it's huge but the lights are somewhat dim. There is a staircase in the center of the house. The rosewood furniture and the dim lights make it romantic.

The lady says, "Have a seat. What is your name?"

"I am Robert, what is yours?"

"I am Adeline, you mentioned just now that you are with a friend on the train but where your friend is I only see you."

Robert says, "It's a long story, my friend disappeared and left me on the train. I want to look for him but I ended up teleported into the forest area."

"That sounds horrible but how did your friend disappear?"

The butler comes with a steak with carrots placed on the table and the other plate is salmon steak with broccoli.

Adeline says, "Come let's eat!"

Robert looks at the food placed on the table with the candles it looks romantic. (In Robert's mind am I dreaming I am eating with a beautiful lady in such a big mansion.)

"Why you're not eating, is the food not nice?"

"Oh no, the food looks nice and I will eat now. I am just thinking about how I can find my friend because he is my best friend."

"We can talk about this later, let's eat the food is turning cold."

The butler comes with 4 bowls of vegetable soups placed on the table.

Robert looks at the 4 bowls of vegetable soups.

"Do you eat vegetable soups?"

"Yes, it's my favourite food."

Adeline takes 2 bowls of vegetable soups to give to Robert. "Eat them while it's hot."

Robert smiles at Adeline.

Robert eats steak, carrots, and vegetable soups. (Robert never thinks he can eat such a good meal after so long time. Robert is happy to meet Adeline.)

After they ate finished their dinner. The butler brings a jar of blackcurrant juice and pours it for them.

Robert says, "This place seems remote area how are you going shopping or buying groceries?"

Adeline says, "I don't go shopping or buy groceries all these things, it's my butler will do."

Robert says, "It's good being rich."

Adeline smiles. "How are you going to find your best friend? If you need my help let me know."

Robert says, "If you can help me it would be very great and I will be thankful for it."

"But you will need to do 3 things for me to find your best friend, the rules are you cannot ask me the reasons, no questioning, give me an excuse, or run away. You will have to do 3 things I ask you to do. Do you agree?"

"As long as it's not illegal because I am from the Army Lieutenant General. My best friend is also from the Army General."

"Oh, means you're a good fighter?"

"I can fight and even teach combat skills."

"Very good the first thing is you need to protect me at all costs."

"Huh? For how long?"

"Regarding the period for how long depends on the situation because as of now I am in a dangerous position, tomorrow you will come with me to the company. You will understand better and remember their faces."

Adeline gets up. "Come with me."

Robert didn't ask where is she going but he follow her.

Adeline walks up the staircase and turns to the left. She walks past 2 doors and opens the third door.

She walks into the room.

Robert follows her to the room.

She opens the wardrobe and takes out a suit.

Adeline walks nearer to Robert and places the suit on his body. "This suit looks good on you, come you go try this suit behind the curtains."

Robert takes the suit and goes behind the curtain to try it on.

After some time, Robert comes out.

Adeline is stunned Robert looks handsome. (In Adeline's mind how come I didn't know he is this handsome just now?)

Robert says, "This must be expensive."

Adeline says, "Tomorrow you will wear this to my company. Remember if anyone asks you anything don't answer them."

Robert says, "Alright, I understood."

Adeline looks at Robert's shoes it's so dirty.

Adeline shakes her head. She walks to the cupboard, takes a pair of shoes, and gives them to Robert. "Wear these shoes tomorrow. You will sleep in this room and you must not come out at night."

Robert says, "Okay, thank you."

Adeline walks out of the room and closed the door.

Robert thinks Adeline is a bit weird but she is kind since she gave him food.

Adeline walks to another room she thinks the person whom Robert mentioned as his best friend could be that person. Adeline thinks that as long as she can have Robert by her side to protect her, there is no problem. Now the problem is tomorrow I need to face the music. I wonder will brother comes since he is also involved in this matter.

Robert looks outside the window and sees it's dark and there is no one around. This mansion is huge but staying alone is a bit scary.
