HOLY GROUND II

Leading the squad, Commander Gallo took them deeper into the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. They left the vast church chamber where the Sunday Mass service was held.

Being a Sunday, the shrine was not as crowded as it was on a normal weekday. 

Ahead of them, a man dressed in a long black robe of an Orthodox priest received. He was of short stature, with a long hawk-like nose, and long white beards encompassing his face like a lion. The black priestly cape hid white hair. Warmth radiated from his wizened blue eyes, above the eyes was the wrinkled forehead.

"Welcome Knight Templars, I am Bishop Peter. I have been asked to guide your group to the tomb of our Lord and tell you more about it, but also answer any of your questions as we go along." The Bishop introduced himself in his baritone voice.

Yosef rushed ahead of the other knights and extended his hand to greet the Bishop.
