Prologue

The beauty of the magical world of Etheria could not be described with mere words. If one had to force themselves, they could start with its tall mountains, majestic forests filled with creatures of all manor, giant lakes, natural wonders that would make anyone fall in love, lush grasslands that blanketed the fertile land, the golden desserts and last but not least, the amazing works of the human race.

Everything in Etheria depended on mother nature. The people in Etheria cared about their world, at least most of them. Therefore, every corner of the world had its own beauty rather than being ravaged by wars and pollution.

The world of Etheria was divided into five continents; Aqua, Morelia, Odin,

Aronia, Blazemier. Each of them had its own beauty, ecosystem, and menaces.

Sadly, a world's darling was not only measured by its beauty. From the dawn of time, a percentage of Etherians were blessed with superpowers. Some used their powers to protect the weak, perform good deeds, or simply become wealthy using their powers selfishly. They were called the 'Heroes'. The other kind was the one who used their powers to perform heinous crimes for wealth, pleasure, or simply they could. They were marked as the 'Villains'. All those who were blessed with superpowers were collectively called 'powered ones'. The people who were born without any powers were simply called commoners.

The United Federation of Heroes, commonly known as UFH defended Etheria from superhuman threats and enforced law and order to keep the powered humans in control.

The UFH divided the heroes and villains into four categories; Special Humans, Enhanced Humans, Super Humans, and the Supremes with the first being the weakest and the last being the strongest. Special Humans were born with abilities such as superhuman reflexes, better aim, and high intelligence.

The Enhanced humans could be said as the upgraded version of Special humans. They had high pain tolerance, raw strength, superpowers such as breathing poison, the ability to extend body parts to a certain level, retractable claws, regeneration, etc.

Above the Enhanced Humans stood Super Humans in the hierarchy. The number of Super Humans was far less than the number of Special and Super Humans. Each Super Human could take on a group of Enhanced humans in theory and it was highly unlikely for a Special human to defeat a Super Human in a battle. The Super Humans had powers such as telekinesis, telepathy, energy manipulation, superhuman strength, density manipulation, energy blasts, shapeshifting, etc.

The strongest and the deadliest ones were called the Supreme ones. Like the other three, they had no 'human' in the name because they were not considered humans. Only a handful of heroes and villains had been categorized into Supreme ones by the UFH. Each one could bring calamity and topple the balance of the world if they went rogue. Indestructible skin, mastery of magic and illusion, devastating sonic projection via speech, ability to alter time and think at superhuman speeds, superhuman speed, Invisibility, energy manipulation, and elemental manipulation were just examples of their superpowers.

Each and every day, a superhero or a supervillain would appear in Etheria. Both of them affected the life of the commoners. Amidst the chaos created by the super-powered individuals, the only solace the commoners had was the Gods of Etheria; Agni, Aqua, Handar, and Rag. Each god represented an elemental. Agni for fire, Aqua for water, Handar for wind, and Rag for earth. The commoners believed each god ruled each of the four moons of Etheria. There was always tension between the churches of Agni and Aqua as one believed their god was more powerful than the other.

The only thing that united the commoners, superhumans, and the churches were the Etherials, the currency of Etheria.

Each of the five continents was divided into several kingdoms. There were four kingdoms in Aqua; Auquria Kingdom, Neer Dynasty, Lotus Kingdom, and Kura Empire.

Continent Morelia had three kingdoms; Nidora Dynasty, Lihan Kingdom, and the Calgary Kingdom.

Continent Odin, the smallest of the continents only had two kingdoms; Vabria and Sinith.

Just as Aqua, Aronia too divided into four kingdoms; Veland Kingdom, Ladon Kingdom, Stegia Kingdom, and Geeneth Kingdom.

Blazemier was the only continent that wasn't divided into several kingdoms. A single dynasty ruled over the entire continent; Raven Dynasty. They were extremely powerful as they ruled over the biggest continent of them all.

Every single kingdom or dynasty was ruled by either a king or a queen or both. There were no democratic governments in Etheria.
