"I told the servants to get a day off today. So, don't worry." Xander watched Luca as she looked around cautiously, offering her a gentle smile. "Feel at home. I'll get you something to eat."

Luca pressed her lips and offered a thin smile, nodding. She dragged her feet around the living area while Xander went to the kitchen. This place had a mix of modern and vintage interiors. She had been in this place in her previous world, thinking it was his home. Obviously, it wasn't his home.

Luca stood in front of the clock stand where her cold reflection mirrored on the transparent glass. It was already nine in the morning, and she couldn't even feel the slightest sleepiness. 

'How sweet…' she thought, turning on her heel as she marched toward the couch. Her aura was still gloomy, eyes weary and listless. But in her mind, she was grinding her teeth angrily.
