Piercing The Heart

When the timer ran out, Drake looked up, still smiling. He hadn't felt excited in a long time, or rather, the monster within him had.

"Who should I pick first?" He muttered, his face set. His extraordinary vision and sense of smell can quickly pinpoint the location of vampires.

"The Lady and her commander are in that direction," he said, looking to his left. "The rest goes in this path..." Drake continued, looking straight ahead and to his right. He is unable to kill Lady Victoria due to Red's plea. As a result, Drake is now walking on the other side.

Drake sighed as he recalled Red Dimitri. Until now, he hasn't understood his strong desire to protect her.

"But now is not the time to think about her!" Drake murmured as the slow walk turned into a fast run.

Drake did this to put his skills to the test, becoming a rogue; he never stopped training to control his wolf.
