Lingering Conflicts

Mira had no choice but to run away and hide. She found herself inside one of the free houses she could find. 

Considering the door was just opened and no one had gone back, she knew that the owners had either died from the zombie mob or were gravely injured and being treated in the medbay. 

Mira didn't care too much and just looked for the more isolated spot, entering a random cabinet in the end, and closing it as fast as she could.. 

She settled down in her pants drenched in pee, but she didn't feel it anymore considering everything else going on in her body. 

Hidden in a stuffy place like inside an old cabinet though, made her feel the pain even more closely. 

She was itchy as hell and was in excruciating pain—no adjectives could describe it anymore. She also felt like a monster— and she was going insane that it literally felt like her brain was melting! 

She couldn't handle anymore of this!
