Mision Part 5

Finishing collecting the carcasses of the wolves and abyssal lions came the Austrian Kingdom Staff officer who quickly ordered the young captains to move for a review.

"Sir! Edward of the Kingdom Military Academy has completed his mission!"

"Sir!"

"You all have done well."

"It might be a little difficult since it's your first time, but it's a process you have to get used to since you have to live here for the next three months."

"So you can't complain. Get used to this place as soon as possible."

"Understood?"

"Don't worry about the commander of this wall, we already detected who are the ones involved in this accident and Brigadier General Constan sent reinforcements to quickly support."

"It was detected that those involved are part of the abysmal religious group."

"Thanks to an early warning by an Anthos Academy student by the name of William at the guard posts on the border we learned that the first-year students of the Duchy academy arrived to complete their initiation mission here."

The children relaxed only after hearing the words of their direct superior. Each of them leaned against the wall and chatted.

"Wow... Anthos Academy students."

"I hope to see Rose and Sthephy."

"Don't mention them."

"Thomas was always the snooty one, I don't want to see him."

"But after experiencing all this... I have to go up and reach 3 stars. No matter what."

Massa and Edward's performance was already off the charts, so they were not included in their comparisons. But even Carl, who could barely make it to the 3-star after struggling to chase the two, showed a tremendously surprising performance today.

Carl had only made it to the 3rd stage, but in less than a month he was able to break through the thick skin of the abysmal wolf with just a bit of aura infused into his sword.

The students knew that he had also received help from the soldiers, but there was a big difference between being able to directly wound and kill the abyssal wolves and just pushing and dragging out the time until someone could kill them.

Because of this incident, the student's desire and longing for the 3 stars deepened.

As the students' desire for the 3 stars deepened, so did their gratitude for Edward. They were extremely grateful to him, especially after experiencing repeated battles together.

Whenever monstrous geniuses appeared at the military academy, they either looked down on the others or withdrew and went their way on their own.

Carl was a good example of this. He could seem close to the others, but once they started training, he would leave them all behind and go his own way. Even Massa was the same way at first. He was even more arrogant than Carl.

But Edward was different.

He trained like Carl and Massa, but he also tried to grow with the others. He willingly shared his practical and tactical knowledge with his colleagues and helped them to become stronger.

And this small gesture of his had stolen all the hearts of the children around him. Their one desire to pursue him and be by his side had become the children's reason to do their best. And as a result, their hard work became their strength.

There was also Edward's special identity, although he was an illegitimate son his personal charisma caused many of the students at the military academy to follow him.

"Edward, there's no way to respond to the acid saliva of wolves, is there?"

"Well."

"There's really nothing else, except holding a shield."

In fact, strong monsters like harpies and abyssal wolves were easier to deal with. They could be intelligent, but they were intelligent only to the point of attacking the weak point of their enemies.

But there were monsters that were much smarter than that. These monsters were among the top three because of their cunning, shrewdness and intelligence. This was also the reason why these monsters could also use their own aura and abysmal power.

The enemy around Heinz's corner suddenly screamed and fell down. One of his legs was severed out of nowhere.
