Goddess, he wanted her dead. He could see that this was Yanna's doing and he had to make sure that Calindra didn't bow to her, but would he be able to work that out? The hybrids that Yanna had tagged along with were not just any hybrids. 

They followed the command for their leader which was something that even the crazies could tell was dangerous. 

The hybrids only ever listened to her and while they were here in the dungeons bonding, there was no telling what kind of damage had already been done to Calindra out there.
