Yelena's Pov

When I got back to the main hall, the party was about to start. Thank goodness that the palace is well ventilated.

I saw Riley and Avyanna together within this crowd.

The emperor and the empress entered and sat on the throne. They were followed by France and Arci who sat beside them.

"The heavens have finally bestowed us a blessing. After years of prophecies and waiting, she has finally arrived. Lady Avery of the Lake."

Avery went out and everyone was looking at her. No one batted an eye.

I am looking at her as she smiles widely. Her eyes roamed around the crowd and when our eyes met, her smiles became wider and her cheeks slightly flushed with redness.

My heart started rampaging inside my chest once again. Oh my. I felt like I'd run out of air.
