The City at the Dungeon of Death

Joshua and the girls continued their ride down the old dirt path that led to the city of the dungeon of death. The closer they got the more signs of civilization they saw. They passed an inn, a pub, and various farms growing wheat along the way.

"So, there is life outside the city walls." Joshua said, almost surprised. He had read a lot of different manga where the entirety of the population lived exclusively inside of the cities where it was safe from outside monsters. This is more akin to his old world. Where farmers and tradesmen live outside of the city.

"It appears so." Lucy said. "That is very odd. I have never seen people living outside the safety of the walls before, well at least not humans. I have seen beast folk live in the treetops of the forest, or in a cave system. For humans to do this, it is quite strange."

"So, I was right about it being weird." Joshua said.
