The wreckage was found directly in a river, with pieces of the shuttle that had crashed thrown into the water and on the banking to the side. Upon seeing the wreckage, Gus noticed that the humans had found themselves on the near side of the river, cowering in the wreckage there against the attacking force of the Bloody Dawn. There was a little less than a full squad still fighting from the wreckage, with the tattered corpses of the dead providing indication as to where the rest were.

'They didn't exaggerate about the number of Bloody Dawn there, that's for certain.'
