Chapter 30 - Anticlimactic
In the half a year that Caelum spent in the Heart Kingdom, He had gained the opportunity to acquire the True Magic Mana Methods and the Rune magic system that was made by the Heart kingdom. The clover kingdom rune array was completely different from the latter.
In Mana Method, the Heart Kingdom's unique magic technique, the mage shapes the runes and arrays from natural mana in their environment rather than purely from their own magic power however, this technique still requires the mage to have a large amount of magic power, as well as good instincts and fast reflexes.
Simply making their magic more natural and influencing the world to their will. Caelum is able to do the same to some degree when he uses [ Tempest Blade ] where he can summon storms and other elements. He took what he had learned and created magic items for Secre and the others. Secre needed a way to maintain her human form which is why he had created an artifact that absorbed enough magic that it made her form permanently.
It was a temporary solution and would eventually make her remain in human form without the assistance of magic items. Caelum studied their rune array creating a stronger [ Tempest Blade ] that created runes behind his back whenever he's going all out.
He had acquired the True magic and at its peak, Mana Method focuses the mana of nature and generates the real element, known as True Magic. For example, Lightning Magic becomes True Lightning Magic and generates real lightning. Because it utilizes the vast amount of mana in nature, the strength of the resulting spell is far beyond what the mage would be able to produce by themselves.
Caelum to improved his [ Magia Erebia ] that essentially act the same way yet in his body. The properties of the magic would become the embodiment of that power and only boosted when he mixed the Ultimate Magic that Elves used.
He was taught by the elves who had resided near the heart kingdom and recently shared the knowledge of the Ultimate magic to everyone since they would fight the dark triad soon. Noelle in particular wanted to fight the one who had cursed his mother and finally get her clarity. Caelum offered to be the one to do so but declined and let there be.
Ultimate Magic is a magic technique that requires the user to become acquainted with the origin of souls and to physically draw closer to mana. The user is then enabled to embody all of their magic and create a spell that is unique to each individual. Caelum essentially needed to understand the life essence of Mana and grasp the true nature of magical energy.
Caelum had secluded himself within a rune array that contains space and time dimension that is dilution for 1:7 days. It was an empty void of space that was still able to absorb magical energy outside and spend his entire time to mix the Ultimate and True Magic together. He kept performing trial and error despite his monstrous talent doesn't mean he had instant mastery.
The endless correction when using the rune was similar to making codes where simple mishaps in placing the runes would cause an error. However, it did not bother him and kept fixing the error knowing that his fee was a step closer to achieving his magic.
It took exactly 5 months within the time diluted space until he had been successful in acquiring the technique to properly function. Caelum was able to learn more about certain things that vastly improved his [ Creator ] skill.
Once everything reached a certain degree, Caelum was currently in deep concentration trying to revise his magic and turn them into a new type of magic. It was then something was changing within his body where the energy began to churn at an unbelievable rate that it caused the dimension to shatter sending a powerful explosion.
Crack.
Caelum's body suddenly obtains golden writing that is completely different from runes made by any of the kingdom. Within his abdomen the mana core shatters them to pieces yet the remains suddenly absorb the raging current of energy before condensing and turning the mana core into something completely different.
[ Mana had been condensed.]
[ Requirement had been met. ]
[ Aether Core had been formed ]
The condition to form the higher purity for Mana was Aether and the Mana methods that he had learned had allowed him to acquire something that shouldn't have been possible. Caelum appearances had completely changed where his hair turned blood soak red that reached his waist.
Behind him were runes that constantly absorbed the magical energy in the surroundings before Caelum tried using his magic and immediately understood how the world works. The energy made from Aether was the same as Mana yet comparing them is unfair because Aether is more solid than Mana. It is difficult to influence because it is akin to a bind in the world itself.
Caelum is able to essentially control the foundation of the world to his will using Aether. He created a simple hard rock that exploded on impact and threw into the clouds that flew in high speed shattering the sound barrier in a fraction of a second and upon impact caused the cloud to turn into ice that started to fall but he instantly shattered it.
"Hahaha I'm finally done!!"
He roared, rejoicing that his goal to gain the [ Aether ] core and gain the favor of the elves along with the heart kingdom was all worth it. Caelum had predicted this was the case and merely wanted to see how things went. His golden eyes shimmering in delight and cracking a few bones until the other came in.
"What's going on!? Caelum?"
Secre exclaimed, noticing how they were unable to detect anything from Caelum even a scrap of Mana was now gone and yet everyone was shaking to the core since he could defeat them without even moving. He smiled at them before telling them that he succeeded in fusing the Ultimate and True magic together.
They were baffled that something that was impossible was achieved by Caelum who was far too busy eating since he had been trapped in the dimension for quite some time that he missed the taste of a decent meal. He didn't rest and only meditated when taking a break. It was impossible for him to die of starvation but prefer to be able to eat.
"Uhmm….what!?"
"The dark triad was able to acquire Captain Yami and Captain Vengeance."
Caelum was having a meal when he heard the news that he had been in seclusion longer than he had expected that the dark triad was planning on opening the Qliphtoth and was confused why they didn't invade the heart kingdom.
"Actually, I fought Vanica and learned that she had been possessed by the devil. She never intended to harm my mother and merely became a puppet of someone."
Caelum pondered who might control Vanica since it was not part of the canon then given more thought made him realize that this was caused by none other than Lucius Zogratis or Julius Chronova. He spread his senses across the black clover continent then found everyone and realized that the qliphoth is undergoing.
"Where is Vanica then?"
"She's currently unconscious and sealed since the devil could easily possess her once again."
"Then bring me to her."
They nodded and brought to a small hut that contained numerous rune arrays that sealed the connection between the devil and Vanica. Caelum nodded and held out his hand before using the [ Absolutely severance ] that soon caused the rune array to shatter, shocking the heart kingdom guardian since they have been extensive on placing the runes yet it was easily dispelled by Caelum.
Caelum use his magic to manipulate the space causing a small androgynous devil to appear then instantly trapped within the palm of his hand. It was Megicula who had a pair of large curved, ram-like horns that sprouted from the top of their head, and a thinner pair of upward pointing horns that sprouted from their forehead. It had long, pointy ears and long, wavy, light-colored hair that seemed to turn into mist. Megicula's three eyes have slit pupils and dark patches around them.
Megicula's petite body is black from the neck down and pale from the neck up, with a black star pattern around the neck. The numerous tentacles all over its body are light-colored, and the long ones have a dark-colored spot at the tip.
{ What is this!!? Impossible!!?? How can you bring me out of the underworld!? }
Its demonic voice caused the people close by to shudder in fear while Caelum was unfazed by the tiny creature and immediately copied its Curse-Warding magic. Caelum's golden eyes merely looked down at the devil then at that moment crushed the spatial cube that was trapping Magicula then devoured the devil into his bloodline.
Caelum was not someone who would care what enemies would think since their only block on the road for his path for power. He was able to summon Magicula by using his [ True Ultimate Space and Time Magic ] even bypassing the space that sealed the underworld. He had not tried it but Caelum hoped to synthesize the unique skill that he had made into Ultimate skills. He has Ultimate magic and only fair to gain Ultimate skill.
"I'll go ahead and talk to Vanica. Perhaps we'll learn a thing or two about their plan."
They nodded and brought the unconscious Vanica to a proper place to have their conversation. He had woken up a few hours later and acted rather frightened that Caelum had to use magic to calm her down. Caelum had dispelled the powerful hypnosis that controlled Vanica. She seem to act like little girl with Caelum took some time to convince to talk about the plan of their brother
"Please stop my brothers!! Our elder brother, Lucius, was the one who made us into this monster!!"
"Don't worry, Vanica. I'll handle everything."
He reassured her by placing his hand into her shoulder, who meekly nodded since she still remembered the horrible thing she'd done while possessed. It seemed that everything had changed and Caelum went outside to prepare heading towards the Spade kingdom.
"This would be anticlimactic but let's go."
Caelum told everyone his plan and flew into the sky toward the clover kingdom to find Julius then quickly severed his connection to Astaroth then separately took out part of that was Lucius then disappeared before anyone realized what had happened and quickly devoured them without hesitation.
He then headed towards the spade kingdom where it had started to open the gate of the underworld but Caelum merely used [ Unlimited Imprisonment ] to lock the whole castle then shift the space to acquire the two Zogratis took their devil and devoured them. Caelum felt something then quickly used the opportunity to synthesize the skills.
[ Unlimited Imprisonment, Usurper, Absolute Severance and True Ultimate magic Space and time had been synthesis. ]
[ Ultimate skill Lord space and time, Yog-Sothoth and Covenant Lord Uriel ]
Caelum delighted seeing the skills had been upgraded from acquiring the devil magic and essentially changing the fate of the world. He would finally be able to head back home and see his family.

3 years had passed since everything had happened and Caelum taken Vanica in his care while his brother had been turn into eternal slavery for their treason in spade kingdom. Yuno had learned about his origin and Asta had come to learn about the fate of his mother while meeting his adopted brother. Liebe was disappointed but knew that Lucifero had finally been defeated.
Caelum spent those years perfecting his power while also spending time with everyone until he decided to place everyone in an isolated space where time doesn't move. They didn't say anything and merely joined him but he doesn't know if he'll be able to return to black clover world for quite some time.
[ Don't worry, Caelum. Once you leave then the time in this world would be vastly different and when you're strong enough could return.]
'That doesn't sound reassuring at all but whatever.'
"I'm sorry that I would have to return…"
Caelum turned toward Sapphire who needed to return back to the Origin Palace and didn't want to leave him but he merely smiled giving her a kiss on the forehead.
"You've done enough for me, thank you and I'll miss you. I promise I'll get stronger where I am able to protect you and everyone else!"
She smiled giving one last kiss before opening the portal where Caelum saw her taking one last glance before disappearing we're even how Caelum sensed using his skill couldn't find the space. The place she went to was a completely different space than this world. He didn't get carried away by emotion then opened his own portal and found himself in vast empty space, surprising him.
