Saving one of them

Inside the lab, when the power was still down, the scientists heard noises coming from outside. They wondered if the other scientists were heading to the power room to speak to those in charge or if it was something else.

Although, the noise sounded disturbing.

"Find out what's going on. Don't they know that we're working here?" Doctor Phill spoke angrily.

He just wanted to get the experiment done by arriving at the cure. They needed it to stop the invasion and to put the government's mind at rest.

The government has been checking up on them for the past six months after Jessica was kidnapped and brought in as their main subject of an experiment.

They had promised to provide the antivirus before they could blink an eye. But they still haven't provided the government with a good report ever since then.

One of the scientists walked up to the door and tried to pull it open. But it was locked.
