Escape

"What's that?" Someone said with fear and they all looked up.

"What are we going to do?" Another lamented.

"Jessica," someone called from above.

People started to scream but Jessica felt she had someone call her name from up off the bus. Or maybe it was her ears playing tricks on her.

Perhaps, it was the undead. But how was the undead supposed to know her name? They may display human characters but remembering names was totally out of it. And she didn't even remember that any zombies in Marlow were someone that knew her.

The bus moved to the left side and everyone screamed at once. They went quiet again, allowing Jessica to listen well.

"Jessica, it's me, Jake. Open the damn door."

And that was when Jessica got the message. She jumped up and intended to unlock the door.

Everyone stared at her for a while, unsure of what she was really doing. Either way, it meant she had found a way to save them.

Jessica opened the door finally, with force, and pulled her head out.
