Blood Hunter felt a sudden jolt in his heart.

He looked toward the direction from which the massive ballista bolts were fired.

Among the Troll ranks, layers of oily coverings were torn off, revealing the enormous, clumsy siege ballistae underneath.

Thick metal bolts, as wide as an arm, were already loaded onto the ballista platforms.

The Trolls swung their sledgehammers down hard on the operating levers. Bang, bang, bang! The bowstrings twanged with fierce recoil, sending bolts hurtling through the air toward the Bone Dragons like cannon fire.

The Bone Dragons immediately tried to evade, but two of them were still struck. The bolts shattered their bones and pierced through their spinal columns.

The weighty chains tightened, increasingly constricting them, dragging the two Bone Dragons down toward the ground.

No matter how fiercely they struggled, they couldn't break free of the chains' grip. With convulsions and roars, they crashed to the earth.
