Ch.28 Animal Control

A few days have passed since the whole incident, and for those few days none of them showed up at school. But I wasn't worried about them. Ashley has been gone for a few days as before, I hope to think she is out on her hunt and nothing more, but I have an unsettling feeling about it all.

On the other side, Allison and I have been spending some time together. I thought it would have been awkward, but I have doing surprisingly well with her. She was coming to school today. I had asked if she wanted to go with me like before, but she said that her dad would drop her, which is good for her… I think?

But that still wasn't the end of things to worry about, today was a test and I haven't been able to concentrate with all the things going around me. I just hope that I do well enough… I really don't want my scores to go down.

I got out of my car and I saw some police cars in the parking lot. They have been here a couple of times after the attack at the school. I got my bag and closed the car's door and started to walk. I got to my locker and opened it and I got my books and I heard Allison walking over.

She saw me and waved at me, I waved back. She walked over to the locker and said, "Good Morning."

I smiled and said, "Morning." I asked her, "So how was the ride with your dad? Did he give you a taser or pepper spray?"

She looked at me and I chuckled and said, "What, that is totally on character for him. I am surprised you are not running around with a gun already."

She squinted and said, "Ha ha ha, are you done with your bad jokes?"

I looked at her and said, "Well, if you know me, then you know I am not."

She shook her head and said, "He has been worrying a lot about me after that day."

She looked at me and I said, "Come on, try to cheer up and besides you have been doing so well in the past few days…"

She nodded and said, "You are right." She sighed and said, "Come on we have a test to go to."

As we were walking towards the test hall. We met with Lydia, she saw me and said, "Good morning Allison."

I looked at her just shook my head and Allison sighed and said, "Can you two please just behave normally."

I looked at her and said, "Say that to her."

She squinted and said, "I would have acknowledged your existence if you weren't actively trying to destroy my life."

I smirked and said, "By literally saying that you have acknowledged me…"

She looked at me and huffed, and Allison said, "God, please just stop."

I grunted and said, "Fine." I looked ahead and saw Erica, and I said to them, "I'll see you in there."

I walked up to Erica, and she was mugging the book. I asked her, "So, you're done with everything?" She hummed, I said, "I don't know about today's test, kinda nervous." She hummed, and I looked at her and said, "You like Justin?" She hummed and then looked at me and said, "Wait no." She sighed and said, "What can't you see I am busy?"

I sighed and took her book from her and she retaliated and I said, "It's over Erica. We are standing in the class." She looked around and said, "Fine." she extended her hand and I handed her the book and she put it in her bag. We sat at the last seats and she asked me, "So how is it been going with Allison?"

I nodded and said, "She is doing better and I think having someone to talk to has really been helping her."

She looked at me and I said, "There is nothing going on like that between us. We are just hanging out that's it."

She scoffed and said, "I still can't believe you man, how did you even end up in the friend zone even after all that?"

I looked at her and she remebered and said, "Yeah, it kinda slipped up. It's nice that I don't talk to many people or this thing would have blown up."

I looked at her and said, "I really don't want people to know. It's something between me and her and I just want to keep it that way."

She nodded and I got two pencils out and waited for the test. Allison came into the room and sat down at the front desk, after a while Stiles also came. People started to fill the hall and Mr Harris started to hand out the booklet. After some time, Scott also entered the room. He looked at Allison and he looked like he was in pain. He wanted to talk to Allison but Mr Harris cut the conversations short and said, "Please take a seat Mr. McCall." He went ahead and sat in front of Stiles.

Mr. Harris said, "You have 45 minutes to complete the test. 25% of your grade can be earned right now simply by writing your name on the cover of the blue book. However as happens every year, one of you will inexplicably fail to put your name on the cover and I'll be left yet again questioning my decision to ever become a teacher.

So let's get the disappointment over with. Begin." He started the timer and I wrote my name on the cover and started the test. The test was easy enough, I think I was worrying about nothing. As I was giving the test I heard heartbeats, everyone's hearts were beating faster, but there was a particular one that felt like an engine. I think I knew who it was. I looked to confirm anyway, and low and behold it was Scott.

He was rubbing his forehead, he was sweating, he felt dizzy. I think he was having a panic attack. He looked around and everything bothered him, he couldn't take it, and he took his bag and left the class. Everyone saw him leave, and Stiles followed after him. Mr. Harris called them, but they left.

I wanted to hear what they were saying, but I needed to focus on my test. After like 5 minutes Scott came in wearing some new pants. They both apologized and were still allowed to give the test.

45 minutes after and the test was done. I got up from my seat and stretched. I asked Erica, "How did it go?"

She smirked and said, "Easy peasy"

I smiled and raised my hand and said, "Hell yeah."

She looked at me and said, "I told you i'm not doing that."

I sighed and said, "You're no fun."

She rolled her eyes and asked, "What do you get for lunch?"

I shrugged my shoulders and said, "I don't know? We'll see at lunch, I guess." We started walking and Allison was still sitting down and I she looked sad. I tapped on her shoulder and she looked at me, "Did you bomb the test?"

She shook her head, "No, I am alright."

And in an out of character moment, Erica said, "You want to grab lunch with us?" I turned and looked at her, and she said, "Don't look at me like that, you doofus."

Allison chuckled and said, "I would love to."

We were sitting in the parking lot and were having lunch. I got sloppy joes and Erica had brought PB&J sandwich and Allison got her stuff from the cafeteria. We were eating and Allison asked, "So this is where you've been having your lunch, huh? I gotta say it's nice… feels almost like a picnic."

I smiled and Erica said, "Why wouldn't it, he always brings those ungodly amounts of food."

I looked at Erica and said, "Then stop eating my food."

She smiled and said, "Nope~ your mom's food is delectable."

Allison chuckled and Erica asked, "I heard about you." She looked at Erica and then at me and Erica said, "It must have been scary huh, you were almost in a horror flick."

Allison sighed and nodded and said, "It was, but I have been doing well now, I am trying to forget it all. And your friend here has been a great help."

I smiled and said, "Well, what are friends for." I felt a sharp sensation like someone was looking at me. I turned slowly to see who it was, and I saw Scott, he was glaring at me. He looks pissed, and he still doesn't even know about that. If he knows, then what will he do?

Hey guys I hope you liked the chapter and yeah somethings will be cut short. But important things like Lydia's breakup, Allison's training will still be there.

And another thing we are at ch 30. 10 more chapters and we can start Naruto FF. Still only have like those two ideas the other one that was like spiderman and killer croc stuff I kinda dont want to do that. But the one with the decay one is really interesting.
