"Master Borm, we have a problem!"
Renee barged into the inner room like a dog with its tail on fire.
"What problem?"
The apprentice pointed to Arabella.
"There's a crowd of angry people here to take her away to the headman for conspiring to kill innocent people. They're outside, waiting to apprehend her, master. We have to hand her over to them."
"What have you done, Arabella?" The healer asked her with concern.
"Nothing," Ji-ho answered tiredly. It was always the same everywhere. She could never escape false persecution. She figured it was about time she got used to it.
"Arabella, here," Ji-ho heard before she saw a bag of money being tossed to her. She caught it with both hands and looked up at the young master with surprise.
"Your fee," he told her. "Seems like you're going to need it."
Renee's eyes had been glued to the grey-haired young man but now she greedily eyeballed the money pouch in Arabella's hand.
