"Hey, don't cry." Molly smiled as she wiped her daughter's tears. After some time, she continued her words, "Was I sad when I let you go with Evan? Yes, I was sad. But... Rose felt like something had hit her head, her sadness fading from her mind. She smiled between her tears when she saw her mother smiling lovingly at her. What her mother said was true. She didn't lose her best friend, but now she has a new one, her father.
