"This is where you'll be staying during your first year in the Academy."

Neron entered into his room and looked around in silence. 

The official who was in charge of directing him there had a rather timid smile on his face as he observed Neron's emotionless demeanor as he stepped in.

Perhaps he was waiting for the boy to say something, or express some kind of emotion, but his face was mostly stoic and his lips were tightly glued together.

His mind, however, was filled with several trains of thought.

"It's been a week since I passed my exams. I didn't expect us to be taken straight for Orientation after the results were announced, and now that it's over, I've been thrust into my permanent residence already.'

Apparently, he wouldn't even be able to return home until he was done with his first semester. That would take at least a few months.
