The amazing talk

Maria's POV

I hopped down the stairs happily as I went down to get mt my food. Zino, which I later discovered was the housekeeper's name, had reserved mine after telling her I was initially not ready to eat. 

I wanted to eat up before going to see my brother hurriedly. We had a lot to discuss, especially the details of my plans for his medical aid. 

Zino had told me Vincenzo called and said he was on a business trip. He could have at least told me. I wondered what it would be like when he finally came back. 

Would it be awkward? I couldn't deny that I wanted to kiss him the last time. Would I do it again? There were so many questions, and honestly, my head hurt from searching for answers that weren't forthcoming. 

I bumped into a gaunt figure on my way down. I stepped back in a hurry hoping it was Vincenzo. Disappointment slowly turned into anger when I saw Tally staring back at me.
