Chaos in the Universe Part 2

Ego the Living Planet, who was being hunted by the Devourer of Worlds Galactus, had arrived in a solar system that was under the jurisdiction of the Nova Corp.

That solar system had a total of three planets with intelligent life, due to expansion and terraforming.

At this time, these civilizations were panicking, as they were aware of the arrival of Ego and Galactus.

After all, a large planet moving towards them, while being chased by what looked like dark cosmic energy, was quite conspicuous.

They quickly deployed their space fleets to try to defend themselves.

While the leaders of the three planets contacted Xandar to quickly request the support of the Nova Corp.

Unfortunately, the disdainful smile on Ego's face showed that their resistance would be futile.

The space fleets attacked without holding back against Ego, but the latter did not even take damage and, ignoring the desperate forces of these civilizations, continued to advance towards them.

Galactus, who was coming after Ego, was devouring one by one the uninhabited planets of that solar system, while he did not stop chasing the living planet.

Seeing those two great existences just made those civilizations feel great terror.

But at that moment, something happened that stunned those civilizations.

Ego, getting close to their position, left them aside and continued advancing without looking back.

At first they were happy, but then they realized that they were very wrong when they saw Galactus.

That bastard was using them as a distraction to escape the devourer's pursuit.

Even when they attacked Galactus, the space fleet could not resist much and was devoured by Galactus without any resistance.

Now, without that defense, the three planets were defenseless against the hunger of the Devourer of Worlds.

Ego, who had already taken a good distance, looked at Galactus' actions with extreme disgust.

"Since you want to eat so much, I'll let you try a very explosive dish" Ego muttered as his eyes sparkled, releasing a bluish energy.

While Ego was doing this, on the planets of the three civilizations a strange plant, well hidden in their respective forests, released the same energy.

Those were the seeds that Ego left on all the planets of the universe and that he was going to use to become one with the universe!

Those three seeds expanded, creating a strange mass that completely devoured the planets.

They no longer had their previous appearance, now they had an appearance similar to Ego's brain.

Galactus, who tried to devour one of those planets, was not aware of that change.

Upon seeing that, expressionless Ego says:

"I'm sure you'll like this"

Galactus finally noticed something strange about the planet, but it was too late.

The planet he was trying to devour, which was now part of Ego, gathered a terrifying amount of energy and self-destructed, creating a huge explosion that engulfed Galactus, who let out a loud cry of pain.

The faces of the three heralds changed as they sensed that their master was calling them to protect him.

Even Pyreus, who had been unconscious, had woken up at his master's call.

So desperately, the heralds tried to leave Ego's body and return to their master's side.

But Ego wouldn't allow it, after all that had been his plan ever since he captured Pyreus.

Although without Peter Quill he can't take over the entire universe, that doesn't mean he can't use it on some planets.

Although he really didn't want to do that, as it would draw the attention of different forces in the universe that could cause him trouble.

He couldn't sit still now that Peter Quill appeared, he knew he had left a bad impression, but he didn't care.

Now he will do everything possible to lure him and force him to carry out his purpose, even if he has to threaten him with destroying the entire universe.

Looking at the other two planets that were now a part of him, Ego didn't hesitate and controlled them to impact Galactus, who was now weakened from the explosion of the planet he had tried to devour.

But the latter had realized Ego's intentions, unfortunately, he had been very damaged and could barely move.

Just when Ego had a proud smile on his face, a small silver figure approached at high speed and mercilessly crashed into one of the planets that were going to hit Galactus.

That figure had a large amount of Cosmic Power and without hesitation, he released it, easily destroying the planet that was part of Ego.

And without wasting time, that silver figure headed towards the other planet with the same intention.

Ego's face changed and he was very surprised by this intruder, but seeing his appearance, Ego knew that it was another of Galactus's heralds.

Silver Surfer!

After his failed mission to Earth, Galactus did not banish him, instead making him seek out other planets for him to feed on.

During that trip, he had received the news of what happened with Pyreus and decided to return to Galactus' side to help, and luckily he arrived in time.

Although Silver Surfer does not like his boss's job, he was well aware of the importance of the balance of the universe and Galactus' role in it.

Undeterred, Ego wouldn't give him the chance and without hesitation, he self-destructed the planet. The explosion took Silver Surfer by surprise and he was sent flying uncontrollably through the dark space.

Ego couldn't stay there anymore, so without hesitation he expelled the heralds from his body.

These had embarrassing aspects, but had no intention of attacking Ego instead they headed towards their master.

Ego wasted no time and left the place.

After a while, Galactus and his heralds also left.

Little did they know that their actions shocked the universe.
