CHAPTER 114

The appearance of a mysterious creature causes an uproar in the Queenby Empire, especially in Krul City. Luckily Gabby was quick to act to cover up the incident from getting to the rest of the Kingdom.

The public concluded that the mysterious being was after the Empress of the Queenby Empire. Although there are many pros and cons to the appearance of the creature, the Council of Nobles and the young ministers of the Empire calmed the people in their respective cities because there had been riots due to the emergence of groups that considered the creature as a messenger of God.

Struck the people of the Queenby Empire with anxiety because the moment the creature appeared, their Empress disappeared along with the three ladies-in-waiting. However, their anxiety did not last long when Count Zerry said Empress Gabby had been in the Rose Palace.

Gabby deliberately closed the incident of the creature's appearance from other Kingdoms so that no sects from other Kingdoms would trouble her later.

"Miss Shushu, Master Reinhard wants to see Her Majesty," said Dullahan. They accidentally met while in the Palace Lobby. Dullahan met Reinhard in front of the Palace.

"That man again," Shushu muttered. Shushu is a little annoyed with the man currently close to Gabby. She knew Gabby and Reinhard were in a relationship, but Shushu was very afraid that Gabby would feel heartbroken. Even if that happened, Shushu would be the first to take action.

"Alright, I'll call Miss." Shushu turned around to go to Gabby's room.

"Wait," Dullahan stopped Shushu's steps. "Before that, I have something to say."

Shushu raised an eyebrow. Usually, Dullahans don't talk much. "What is it?"

"Aide Master Reinhard, perhaps you have never met him in this world. However, I believe that Lord Reinhard's aide is God Xerus." said Dullahan. Even though he believed that Reinhardt's aide was God Xerus, that wasn't necessarily true. By telling Shushu, it might be more convincing if Reinhardt's aide was a God or not.

"Xerus?" Shushu muttered. She wasn't surprised. It's just that why there was a God Xerus in this dimension. All she knew was that Freya had said that Xerus had died at the hands of Yog-sothoth. 'Could he be reincarnated?' Shushu thought.

"Thank you for the information, Dullahan. We'll take care of that later." Shushu said. Dullahan nodded in understanding and said goodbye to Shushu. 'What I have to take care of is that man.' Shushu continued. She headed for Gabby's Room.

"Miss, that man has come again." there was a tone of annoyance as Shushu spoke.

"Who?" Gabby asked.

"Reinhard, Miss," Shushu replied. "Miss, why are you in a relationship with her? Have you and him already…." Shushu stopped her speech, and she was too lazy to continue.

"What is it, Shushu? What relationship do you mean?" Gabby looked confused by Shushu's question, but Shushu was even more confused by Gabby.

"Miss, didn't you and Reinhard have a relationship as lovers?" Shushu hesitated to ask because she saw Gabby confused.

"Lovers?" Gabby's parrot is confused.

Shushu rubbed her face and didn't expect Miss to be so innocent. Didn't they already express their feelings for each other?

"I heard clearly, at Gustav and Isabella's wedding you said you liked him."

"Eh? I like Shushu, but I didn't know we would become lovers." Gabby replied very innocently. Again Shushu rubbed her face, but this time she rubbed a little rougher.

"But, why did you ever say that you are embarrassed and your heart beats fast when you are with Reinhard?"

"Ah that's because he's so handsome and gentle. That's why I'm shy and nervous when I'm around him." Gabby replied.

Shushu sighed lightly. "Okay Miss, I understand now. But right now Reinhard thinks of you as his lover, what about Miss?"

Gabby closed her eyes, her long finger brushing her chin. "Interesting too," Gabby mumbled. Shushu just stared at Gabby flatly because she heard her mumble.

Reinhardt was waiting in the guest room of the Palace, his handsome appearance now showing anxiety. The incident he heard about was not an easy one. He didn't care if the Palace Servants looked at him strangely. Now and then, he stood up from his seat, his eyes searching for where Gabby had appeared.

Finally, his eyes saw Gabby coming, and he felt grateful to see Gabby was okay. He walked briskly toward Gabby, his face still filled with worry.

"Are you ok? Has anyone been hurt? That strange creature didn't hurt you right?" Reinhardt grabbed both of Gabby's shoulders. Even though Gabby looked very good, Reinhard still felt anxious.

Gabby stared at Reinhard silently, and she was silent not because she was confused about answering Reinhard's consecutive questions. But she fell silent, seeing that Reinhard was worried about her.

"Uhm."

Reinhard came to his senses after hearing Shushu's snort, coughing loud enough to warn someone.

"Sorry, I was just worried." Reinhardt let go of his hand that had been on Gabby's shoulder.

"It doesn't matter. I'm fine, and there's nothing to worry about." Gabby concluded with her smile. She had to cover up this matter from Reinhardt. She couldn't possibly drag Reinhardt into this big of a problem. That's because Gabby always thought Reinhard was an ordinary human being.

"Well, I hope you will always be fine," said Reinhard. Gabby just smiled at Reinhard.

They talked in a gazebo in the middle of the park. It was just the two of them and a few maids serving snacks. Gabby was still thinking about Shushu's words saying that Reinhard considered her a lover. It might not be so bad if she had a beloved relationship with Reinhard. After all, she had never been in one.

Gabby did like Reinhard. All she knows is that they can become friends if someone likes someone else. Did the nervousness she felt when she was with Reinhard because of liking have another meaning? I don't know. She doesn't know either.

On the other hand, Shushu was standing in front of Ril, who was waiting for Reinhard in the horse carriage. Shushu's eyes narrowed at Ril. Ril himself just looked away as Shushu scrutinized him.

'Geez.' Ril avoided eye contact with Shushu as much as possible.
