(Ray)
Owing to his injured shoulder, Rody and Samantha took up the responsibility of making dinner. Ray was grateful for that. The last thing he wanted to be was a burden to his friends but until his wound fully healed, that's exactly what he was.
As he sat on the couch, he flexed his shoulder gently to test it out. That mild motion alone sent a jolt of pain along his body. He winced and clicked his tongue in frustration. He hated the fact that he wasn't in his full potential. He was always painfully aware of what happened back in Sheila's house. How he had tried and failed to help Rody from the newly transformed Jai because of his injury. If things hadn't somehow worked out, he would have lost one of his closest friends. The thought haunted him.
