Yoen looked up as He Ao tilted his head skyward, his movements instinctively mirrored.

However, He Ao suddenly pulled with great force, dragging him out of the room.

While Yoen was still puzzled, through the blur, he saw a somewhat swollen shadow descending from above, attacking his back.

It was an aged figure, its mouth split in a frenzied grin, eyes bulging as if they were about to pop out of their sockets.

The figure cackled madly at Yoen, reaching out a withered hand like a dried-up bone, about to seize Yoen's neck.

"Uncle Jido?"

This somewhat swollen, elderly silhouette was none other than the neighbor who had shared the strange tale of knocking with Yoen earlier that day. His body normally thin, now appeared engorged with reddened flesh, resembling an obese bloated man.

His torso was fat, but his arms were thin to the bone, as if all the flesh had been absorbed by his body.

His legs had disappeared, replaced by a long tendril-like strip of flesh.
