I’m not sure how an important meet up that I’d traveled miles for deteriorated into little more than a gossip ring, and even hours later, I’m still not convinced that these men weren’t pulling my leg with this shit, that it wasn’t some kind of smokescreen to throw me off for whatever reason. What I do know is that it’s the oddest damn experience of my life.
