Chapter 187: Where Gods Fall
The Flame Chasers of MOTH were having a standoff against Cana. The herrscher of the ocean which is arguably as strong as the 14th herrscher at space. Two sides staring at each other down as they prepared to clash.
"This looks like this would be quite the challenge!" Kallen shouted out in excitement. Cana then looked at her and she gave a deep frown. "K-Kiana?" Cana got confused for a moment, as all female Kaslanas look alike.
"How do you know my progeny?" Kallen raised a brow and Cana squinted her eyes. "So she is here... Move, humans! If you don't want to die, then hand her over to me." Cana growled, getting agitated for the idea of a reunion with her lover. Even though she has no memory of her.
"How about no?" Sushang focused on her blade mantra and a titanic sword appeared like a meteor. Cana was pleasantly surprised by the attack and thought that they must be humans that are beyond what she has destroyed before. As the others went insane with just a look at her form. (gif)
"A decent attack, but a party trick in front of my limitless power." Cana waved her hands and space distorted, swallowing up the sword into oblivion with a mere gesture.
"Hmph, this woman is going to be troublesome." Mobius squinted her eyes. As according to Vill-v and Su's calculations, she was as strong as the herrscher of the end. Meaning it would be the most hectic battle they would face.
But she smiled in the face of the odds. "Ein trained us for this, people. You know the drill." Mobius and Kosma started consuming the honkai in the surroundings and they became stronger. Basking in energy, Kosma has gotten larger and larger. While Mobius' glow grew brighter.
"Impudent humans!" Cana was enraged and then she felt two of her kin with them. Making her grit her teeth as she glared at the other two herrschers. "Traitors... You side with these ants!?"
"Kukuku~ That's right, we're much more awesome than you too. Nobody wants your tentacles here, octopus." Hua puffed her chest and started chanting, releasing the reality marble with Fu Hua who sighed at her. "Focus, Hua. We're fighting a terrible enemy here."
Cana didn't take the insult kindly and charged up an attack. Tendrils of black energy was released from her hands. It then went to the group at blinding speed, but Elysia held it with her hand and chuckled.
"Ara~ What a naughty herrscher you are." Elysia gave a smile and Cana's space rending attack dispersed from her hand. "That's a big no no, we're even fighting in space so there won't be catastrophic collateral damage~"
Cana furrowed her brows and was sure now that they were actually a threat. Sensing the foreign energy from Elysia and the two lookalikes who formed a realm of swords and weapons.
The herrscher let go of her powers and the world trembled before her might. While the flame chasers' battle intent and energy crashed onto her aura in a stalemate.
Cana thought it would at least affect them. As she did with the worlds she destroyed in the past. Causing insanity to the populace as a great old one. Delighting in the ants causing their own downfall and watching remnants killing each other as paranoia broke their minds.
"Your powers have no effect here, as Ein-sama's loyal wife. We will hold the line, a false deity cannot triumph before us. Hecatoncheires." Aponia spawned hundreds of arms, the ethereal constructs turning solid as she took hold of the weapons that Hua and Fu Hua made. Each arm holding a mighty weapon that was in no way worse than the original.
"Press the attack, Griseo." Kevin asked and Griseo nodded, pointing her paint brush at Cana. Her army behind her aimed and their weapons glowed like a horde of fireflies in space. And after a few milliseconds, they fired. Illuminating the void in a spectacular show of beams and artillery that would cause total annihilation of entire star systems.
The herrscher snorted and just stayed in place. Griseo's apocalyptic barrage didn't stop and kept on coming. And when the light show stopped, Cana had a condescending smile on her face as she was basically unharmed. A shield that distorted space acting as an impenetrable bulwark.
"Your attacks are meaningless hum-" She was going to monologue again, but Sushang appeared right in front of her with imperceptible speed. Arm cocked, muscles bulging with violent strength. She then broke through Cana's shield with her fist, using a coating of her blade mantra to pierce it.
The herrscher's nose got broken in and an explosion of energy was released from Sushang's blow. The heat, immense. Melting asteroid belts as the shockwave came after. Swept away celestial bodies as Sushang blew on her smoking fist. Cracking her neck as she sighed.
"I haven't taken off my weights for decades, not since Ein and I fought to show Adelheid the peak of martial prowess. That felt pretty good." Sushang smiled and felt ecstatic with her physical might.
"Heh, she's pissed. And she's coming back for vengeance." Kalpas started burning up and everybody prepared for a surprise attack.
Cana teleported back to the battle as a crack in space appeared and they saw her mangled face. Her entire body was shaking with rage, her eyes glaring hatefully at the impudent humans that dared oppose her.
She then clapped and the space around them got compressed like a vice. Vill-v prevented everyone from getting squished and gave orders to attack.
Mobius immediately released a laser from her mouth, a trace of green light being left behind as Cana dodged the dangerous laser. Which was a wise choice, as when it hit Venus. It went through it cleanly and the planet melted from the intense energy.
Aponia then engaged, coming in hot with an impassive face. Without emotions, her only desire is to subjugate the enemy. Her blue sword that could cleave universes in half vibrated violently. Threatening to cleave Cana into two pieces.
The herrscher held Mahapralaya's blade with her hand, Cana's black and corruptive energy arcing from their contact point.
Aponia's ethereal hands tried striking her down. Cana was prepared though, as tentacles writhed out and parried her attacks like an automatic defense system. She then stopped time and it gave her enough of a window to grasp Aponia's neck, having a grin on her face.
Yae immediately cut off her hand, as one of the specialists against tanks. Yamato was effective against enemies with ludicrous defenses. SAKURA then chopped off her tentacles, Aponia threw Longinus at her and Cana had to back off from their attacks.
Vill-v and Su gave them incredible coordination. Creating a plan of attack that chained her down as Griseo fired another volley of artillery.
"Per Aspera Ad Astra!" Javelins of light came from Kosma's back as his noble phantasm, the anti-thesis of herrschers hit Cana squarely.
She groaned as black miasma came from her wounds. Noticing that the javelins of light were pretty effective on her. Countering the concept of destruction of civilizations.
"Insolence!" Cana screamed in rage and like clockwork, turned back time on herself as she regenerated the painful wounds.
She created two celestial bodies side by side and smashed them against each other at Kosma. Glaring hatefully at the man that dared harming her perfect body.
Xuanyuan came in while riding an eastern dragon made out of lightning. Slashing at the enemy skillfully as her golden blades crashed against Cana's shields.
The herrscher slapped her away with a tentacle and the two Hua's were ready as they unsealed Excalibur Proto. Their swords glowed, shining brightly. The weapons of promised victory ready to unleash destruction upon her.
Cana was about to teleport and dodge the divine weapon's blade. But her body started crystalizing as Elysia's domain have already spread out. Kevin also froze her honkai energy. Interfering with her control for a split second as the two Hua's roared. "EX...CALIBUR!"
The divine light burned Cana tremendously. As she was considered a true evil in the universe, slaughtering entire worlds for her entertainment.
"AGHHHH!" The herrscher screamed and has never felt such pain before. Searing pain wracked her body, but it would take more than that to vanquish her.
"Enough games!" Cana smashed the crystals that have encroached on her body with her monstrous strength. She then released a pulse of energy, gaining back her control of it from Kevin's machinations.
A crack in space appeared behind Hua and Fu Hua. A tentacle suddenly grasping them both as Cana's previous outburst interfered with their comms and senses.
Sakura tried cutting them off, but with a wave of Cana's hand. The two Sakura's flew at her grasp, instantly putting them in an infinite corridor that would take them out of the battle for some time.
Kevin tried freezing them into diamond dust, but it was obviously ineffective and Cana smashed the two Hua's against each other with immense speed. They gasped as their ribs crashed onto each other and creaked, Cana then fired a beam of pure and unadulterated honkai energy at them.
Su immediately went in front of the two and protected them with Avalon. While Mobius and Kosma absorbed the honkai energy as much as they could.
"What a tricky enemy, I guess it's time to test this. Balance breaker!" Kallen shouted out and shone brightly with the color scheme of her honkai genes which were black and outlines of blue.
"Boost!" Kallen felt her strength increase exponentially, her muscles tearing from the immense power she held within her body.
"Doppelganger, stand still." Kallen created a clone of herself and saw the world's colors go white as time slowed down. Immediately performing a stinger, her doppelganger also copied her attack and stabbed Cana a million times with exponential increase in force each time.
Cana groaned and stayed in place as Kallen's million stab were done in front and at the rear. Turning her into swiss cheese.
The herrscher manipulated reality and was about to transfer her wounds back to Kallen. But the Kaslana had a smirk on her face as she entered a stance.
"Royal guard!" Cana's hopeful counter was met with Kallen blocking all of it as they were resistant to reality manipulation. Resulting in an external force trying to do the same to her. "Overboost! Royal release!" Kallen sent it all back again to Cana with an even more exponential increase. Boring a hole right through the herrscher.
"Nice, Kallen. Now, begone!" Sakura disappeared from her place and space got rent with her slashes. She then sheathed Yamato and Cana was cleanly sliced to multiple pieces.
The two Sakura's breaking out of the eternal prison as Yae got the mechanics of it. Slicing open the dimensions that acted as a lock with Yamato.
Her body parts wriggled and created clones that numbered the same amount as them. "It seems that I am at a disadvantage, let us even the playing field." The multiple enemies then lunged at all of them, taking the fight to flame chasers.
"Damnit Sakura! Why'd you have to cut her up, you made clones of her!" Kallen parried tentacles that looked like eldtrich whips.
"Shut up! Like you did any better! Your attacks just annoyed her!" Sakura rebutted and they were all busy with their own clones.
Things got hectic quickly, a myriad of powers flew everywhere. Cana's black and corruptive energy trying to devour their forms like vengeful lightning.
Elysia, Griseo, and Vill-v fired lasers and beams at certain angles. Helping everyone as much as possible against the troublesome enemy.
"Mobius! Give me a boost!" Elysia called upon Mobius as she was the nuclear reactor of the team. Mobius roared and the scales on her body erupted, releasing omnidirectional lasers that stunned the clone.
She then opened her jaws and bit off its head like a nice lollipop. Gaining tons of energy to burn as she helped Elysia to gang up on her adversary.
Elysia immobilized Cana with her crystals and slugged it on the face with imagine breaker. Cutting it off its connection with the imaginary space and Cana effectively. Mobius then started eating it as well as a part for her evolution.
"Quick, Elysia." Mobius gave her hand to Elysia so she could siphon the energy that overflowed in her. It was so violent and massive, almost giving Mobius the feeling she will explode.
"Itadakimasu~" Elysia didn't go for the normal though as she kissed Mobius. Draining the energy from her and relieving the green haired scientist of the burden.
"Fufufu~ Thanks for that!" Elysia's pink eyes then scanned the battle. Immediately burning off the boost that Mobius gave her.
She clapped and concentrated, extending imagine breaker to her domain. Pink crystaline spears then formed and Vill-v restrained them with tower of Babel. Their endosuits made from Adamantine suddenly acted up and coated the Cana clones.
Elysia's crystal spears stabbed them square on the chest and the clones dispersed without much trouble.
"Tch, such troublesome humans!" Cana got more irritated by the second and her red eyes twitched madly. The universe trembled from her anger, but Ein's containment held strong.
But something was trying to break through the mirror dimension. And the flame chasers frowned from the familiar signature.
"Hmph, took you long enough. Oh sister of mine. And you better change your look after this farce, you are not Kiana." Cana huffed and a white haired woman that looked like an angel went to her side.
"Einheri is not here? Foolishness, humanity is doomed without him. This will not go as well as the past." Her halo glowed and convoluted wings of light appeared behind her back. (pic)
The flamechasers were prepared to go all out. Waiting for Ein's mirror dimension to contain their battle first. But they didn't get a response from him.
"Great, good timing." Vill-v's brows creased as they knew that he was now inside the sea of quanta. And would be unreachable for the duration of the fight with the herrscher of the end and Cana.
"Vill! You know what to do!" Elysia got serious and ordered immediately. Vill-v nodded and she went to earth with Su to protect the planet with Vill-v's specialty and the Avalon of Su.

Ein witnessed the clash of the flame chasers against Cana and nodded in satisfaction. They weren't going all out and he believed in them.
"It's time." He went to the sea of Quanta and closed his eyes. Feeling all the mega structures of ether anchors that were slowly siphoning the energy of the vast sea.
"Everything started here, I guess it's only apt that I finish it all at this place." He concentrated and snapped his fingers.
The ether anchors gave off an ethereal glow and guided the null energy into his entire being. Every cell, every molecule, every atom. The essence of the sea of quanta seeped into him.
He frowned as he contained the violent energy of the sea of Quanta. And naturally, the sea and imaginary tree felt the disturbance.
"You could've taken your sweet ass time you know?" Ein opened his eyes and the entity known as the sea and Imaginary tree appeared before him.
"Einheri Aesir. A man who has become a god, this goes against the natural order." The bluish silhouette that looked like an accumulation of universes spoke.
"This will endanger the infinite macrocosm, human. You must be stopped." The imaginary tree's avatar that had cosmic roots on it threatened.
"Oh, bite me." Ein squinted his eyes and took out a singularity. The greatest creation of mankind, an AI that mirrored his endless evolution. He activated it and its network seeped into the sea of quanta.
"Master, Laplus has taken control of the sea of Quanta. Initiating apotheosis." The AI finally got the necessary power to initiate its full capacity as Laplace's demon. Able to calculate the entire past, present, future. Of infinite timelines.
The ether anchors went into overdrive and created a shell on Ein. His body undergoing ascension as his being devoured the sea of quanta.
The two deities immediately tried to cut him off from their realm. But Laplus did not give them a chance, as she has foreseen this already. Instead, the imaginary tree and sea of quanta started to converge for Ein's rebirth.
"This cannot go on. If this is your answer, then we shall go down with you." The deities combined and in the eons of their rivalry, they settled their desires to assimilate each other.
The infinite macrocosm shaked and cracks started to appear at the seams. Getting unstable as the now fused gods of the verse tried to implode. Effectively taking reality and Ein with them if they were to succeed.
The balance would be destroyed and their entire beings erased. But as the cycle of life and death continues. They will again reform and start all over again. A big price to pay for the removal of a singularity. But a necessary one in their minds.
"Executing order number 4 and 5. My master, my creator. Farewell." Laplus' monotone voice gained a tinge of emotion.

Eden stepped up and sighed. Ethereal chains and cuffs appearing all over her body as the two herrschers raised a brow at what she was doing. Waiting for her foolish attempt against them, sure of their victories.
"You know, I've never used this much. I don't feel like myself when I do this after all." The chains and cuffs that sealed her trump card slowly fell down, melting into the void of space.
"Uh-oh. Everyone get back, things are about to get hectic." Elysia encased them all in crystals and they weren't privy to what Eden was doing except Eden and MEI that was still fighting on earth.
"Ellie, what is she doing?" Kallen asked curiously, trusting that Eden has a reason for taking them alone.
"Ahhh, that's the privilege of the 1st wife. Eden's incredibly souped up, she's taking magic roids." Mobius explained and shrugged.
"Magic roids?" The two Sakura's raised a brow and they observed what Eden has in store. Horns appeared on Eden's forehead. Looking quite similar to the crown of the emperor that pierces the sky.
"Oh, her gene seed is special isn't it?" Kallen noticed the pulsating core on Eden's chest. A weaponized heart of Ein that was barely contained by Adamantine.
Eden sighed and showed her sharp row of dagger like teeth. Grinning like a mad man as her savage desire to kill things rose. Eyeing the two herrschers like pieces of meat.
"Oh, and she goes crazy when she goes like that. Prepare to chain her down after okay?" Elysia took out the seals once again and started sweating. As it would be a herculean effort whenever Ein wasn't there. But they could manage, she thinks.
"LET'S DANCE!" Eden's voice turned inhuman. Her hands shaking with her power as they contained space quakes. Her muscles bulged like a balloon and she suddenly reappeared in front of the herrschers without warning.
Eden held their heads and smashed them together. Releasing the shockwaves from her hands as their heads exploded into a fine mist.
"Hold the line!" Elysia created a lattice of her crystals. Trying to make Vill and Su's job easier as the other chasers enhanced the durability of Elysia's aegis.
And with a massive boom, the shockwaves hit their shields like a tsunami. Cracking it immediately as Elysia's brows furrowed.
"Damn it, dodge!" Kevin noticed that it won't hold. But something stood in front of the shield and tanked the blow.
"Do not worry my friends, for we row row and fight the power!" Nuwa's voice was heard and she was piloting tengen toppa with Fuxi.
They then observed Eden beat the shit out of the two herrschers at the distance. "Ora! Fight back you cowards!" Eden's leg crashed onto Cana's arm and sent her to oblivion. Cracking space as she was sent flying back to the imaginary space.
The herrscher of the end teleported Eden and herself to follow Cana as they would have an advantage there at the imaginary space.
The flame chasers nodded and followed suit, as they could finally fight with their full potential. Now that the battle was inside another realm.
"Shooting star ortygia!" Phyllis immediately gave fire support. Noticing the herrscher of the end that teleported behind Eden to try and capitalize on her berserk state. As their powers were not effective on her.
"Ars Almodel Salamonis." Elysia entered assault mode and pinned down the Kiana lookalike. "Let's play along okay?" Griseo painted a prison and contained HOTE with her powers while Cana and Eden duked it out.
Her powers were ineffective, so she did it the old fashioned way. Her hand transformed to an eldtrich fist and smacked Eden away like a meteor.
Eden growled and shaked her head. Lunging once again at Cana with ferocity. And with terrible savagery, she ripped her arm off. Hitting Cana with it like a baseball bat, crashing into the imaginary tree.
"Touch the untouchable, break the unbreakable!" Nuwa transformed the mech and used Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann as a green fire blazed on its body. Drills appearing on every joint, spinning madly.
"You are making a mistake! You will all die if this continues! We will all disappear!" The gestalt will of honkai shouted out. But Nuwa took out a sword made out of Adamantine and Fuxi opened up the rocket launchers.
"Bet?" Fuxi's monotone voice sounded out and countless rockets poured out of the mech. The imaginary space got rocked and the gestalt will got ragdolled by the explosions filled with the sea of quanta's cosmic energy.
Nuwa released a string of energy and it latched on to the will. She then swung it down left and right on the ground. The mech spun and let go, taking the enemy elsewhere as Nuwa and Fuxi wanted a 1v1.
HOTE created an anti-honkai field. But her prison didn't diminish in the slightest. Gnashing her teeth in anger, she created a universe and let it implode against Griseo's construct. Releasing a spectacular explosion.
"Earth's immovable force!" Sushang equipped her gauntlets and monstrous strength filled her body. "Gate of wonder! Open! I've been waiting for this day. Come at me!" Sushang's aura blew away her friends and enemy.
HOTE was shocked at her sudden boost in strength. Sushang ran at the ground, every step shaking the vast realm of the imaginary space. A swirl of energy formed at her fist and she jumped, releasing it all at the 14th herrscher.
"Hirudora!" A gigantic phantom of a black tiger was realized. Roaring with its master as Sushang's Adamantine skeleton creaked from the strain.
"You dare challenge me!" HOTE grew to her cosmic size and threw her fist at the ethereal tiger. Space cracking as the roots of the imaginary tree got ripped out. Creating a rift to the sea of Quanta.
Their attacks cancelled each other out and Kalpas came swooping in with a drop kick like a Kamen rider. "Die, herrscher!" His flaming body crashed onto HOTE's back. Burning down her honkai wings and halo.
Kosma absorbed titanic amounts of honkai energy and his size now rivalled the HOTE. Elysia and Kevin created a foot hold for him and he positioned himself on it like an Olympic sprinter.
The giant copy of Vishnu roared and tackled HOTE with a spear. Dragging the herrscher down on the ground for thousands of kilometers. He then went ham and hammered on her face with his fists. Absorbing more and more honkai energy.
Eden was starting to slow down. Her body couldn't keep up with Ein's heart. Cana's arm turned into a blade and was about to pierce Eden's chest. But she coughed up blood as Phyllis' clawed hands tore her own.
Elysia chained down Eden again to let her recover. Sushang capitalized on it and opened the eight gate. Her muscles tearing from the dangerous technique. "Dragon's rage!" Her leg got coated with a draconic form and like a whip. It hit Cana on the head as Phyllis took her arm away to get off.
Sushang's leg blew her head off and attacked Cana's regenerating body with evening elephant.
Meanwhile, Nuwa was drilling into the gestalt will of honkai. "Uwoooogh! Feel the drill that can pierce the heavens!" Nuwa got excited and Fuxi rolled her eyes.
The gestalt will regenerated and a telekinetic force pushed against the mech. "Tch, you're a tenacious one huh?" Nuwa clicked her tongue and got irritated.
"Stupid Nuwa, of course it won't go down that easily. Let's use that." Fuxi pushed a button and Nuwa nodded. "Ohhh! Taste the power of friendship you fool! Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann!" The mech formed a huge cape and grew to a construct of pure energy that encompassed the battlefield.
"Giga drill breaker!" Nuwa and Fuxi roared. Creating a gigantic drill that destroyed the gestalt will of honkai. It released a scream and cursed them for their decisions. "You doom us all! Remember that you caused the fall of reality!"
"So they're using that huh? I guess it's time to get serious as well." Elysia closed her eyes and flew to the skies. The flame chasers nodded their heads and went behind Elysia. Giving their strength to her as their signets glowed brightly. (pic)
"Walk along the footprints. To witness the flame chasers' crusade. And create a future that we failed to create. For the next generation." (pic)
Elysia drew her bow taut and released it at the herrscher of the end. The imaginary space cracked like glass and HOTE tried resisting, but she ultimately failed as she got cut off from the imaginary tree.
Cana and the HOTE went powerless as they floated at the crumbling imaginary space. The tree started wilting as the balance got disrupted. But Laplus kept it going as long as she could.
Elysia transformed the realm and a field of pink flowers appeared. Wind blowing on them gently as Elysia gave a smile. "HIMEKO, we finally did it. Ein just has to give the finishing touches."

Ein never concentrated as hard as now. The essences of the imaginary tree and quanta clashing violently inside his body.
He then felt a pull from earth. "Laplus, inform your sister Metatron that it's time." He informed Laplus and the AI sent her sister the signal. While Ein tried controlling the macrocosm as much as he could.
Playing a dangerous game in which a split second of losing focus would result in the erasure of reality.
He started sweating and was subject to immense mental and physical pressure. "Kallen, go and save the world. You'll finally fulfill your dreams." Laplus transported Kallen back to earth and the AI closed down all communications to the sea of quanta so he could concentrate.
