Operation 'Annoy Saber 3/3

Apparently some people confuse Issei Ryoudou (president of the stunted council in Shiro's and Rin's school) with Issei Hyoudou (pinnacle of disgustingness and mc of dxd).

This is not a weird crossover world nor a multiverse fanfic so there will be no dxd here.

"It's open" replied Aqua from inside the room.

Opening the door, Artoria entered before closing the door again.

"Don't mind the mess." said Aqua, who noticed that Artoria's eyes kept looking down at the empty bottles on the floor.

"I thought I destroyed them all." said Artoria.

"No, you destroyed the ones in the house, naturally I left the house to buy more using the money I got at school today." replied Aqua while showing a proud expression.

"I see..."

"So, are you here to ask me to introduce into the arts of drinking or is it perhaps to thank me while giving me some offerings and prayers for my help today." said Aqua, the expression on her face becoming even more proud.

Artoria decided to ignore that comment. She was able to destroy all of the bottles Aqua liked and, while maybe it was a bit petty, it was also justice for the embarrassment she was forced to go through.

"Master says you know a lot of things..."

"Why, you have some questions on your mind?"

"Yes."

"I don't mind answering your questions Artoria, but you must do something for me..."

"You mean..."

"Indeed... you must cosplay for me!" said Aqua with a grin on her face

"..."

"..."

"Awww come on, I will answer your questions, all you have to do is try out a couple of outfits, one per question. Once the session of questions is over I get to choose one outfit you must wear for the rest of the day. So? Do you agree? I mean it is already pretty late so you won't wear it for long."

"... Fine."

"Great! Ask away then!"

"Why did Kiritsugu order me to destroy the grail?"

"Hmmm, pretty good question, why? Did you feel angry at that moment? Were you perhaps sad when your dream was just thrown away by a man you didn't even like? And for what? Heh" said Aqua while slightly laughing.

"You find this funny?!" exclaimed Artoria who was a bit angry at Aqua's clear mockery even though this was important to her.

"Of course I do, you are like a frog at the bottom of a well, questioning and judging a bird for flying. Granted Kiritsugu is more like a pigeon for being a complete idiot and basically the worst type of bird possible, but he still knew more about what was outside of the well than a frog like you" replied Aqua.

While Artoria was wondering what Aqua meant by that while ignoring the pigeon comparison, Aqua was definitely not regretting not having an audience to praise her for making such an awesome and perfect comparison.

"I do not understand what you mean." said Saber after giving it some thought and arriving to no logical conclusion.

"Sigh, when Kiritsugu got to the grail he realised it was not what he expected it to be, and that he would need to cause a huge amount of death for his wish to be fulfilled. And no, he didn't wish for something different from what he told you." explained Aqua.

"So he did wish for world peace but his wish couldn't come true... You also told the daughter of Irisviel that her wish wouldn't come true... then what about mine?!" asked Saber, a bit of anxiousness and desperation mixed in with the hopefulness of her tone.

"..." Aqua remained silent for a moment, wondering how the best way to answer her would be. "No, it won't come true either. I have never seen a reality in which your dreams comes true, wether you formulate it as saving Britania or having someone else pull Caliburn, I have never watched any of them come true."

Aqua paused for a moment to let Artoria process the information before continuing. "Your life, your existence, it is extremely important to the history of the world. Changing it would affect the way your story unfolds, to change your fate is to change the fate of Britania, and to the fate of Britania means to change the fate of billions and billions of lives influenced by it's legacy.

The Holy Grail can only grant such wish as high as changing the fate of Britania if you understand the process to achieve the result, yet you do not know how to save Britania, perhaps in the same manner that you did not know how to rule it.

As for your dream of having someone else, someone more capable than you, pulling out the sword... well I doubt it would lead to a better fate for Britania than having you as king. While you never truly ruled them, you also never allowed the power you had to get into your head, you always did what you thought best for your people, to protect those who trusted and looked up to you.

In the same manner that a goddess should care for her followers, a king should care for his people as well. To some a king like that might be ridiculous, but I think you are pretty cool.

Sure you are not on this great goddess' level, but you are still quite awesome." said Aqua while laughing a bit. Artoria showed a small smile at this, even though she wasn't a master at social interactions, she still knew Aqua was trying to make her feel better.

"I see... I will take my leave then, thank you very much." said Artoria with a small bow representing her gratitude. She had a lot in mind and decided that taking some time to think would be the best.

"It was my pleasure Artoria, now I suppose you have a lot to think about..."

"Indeed." answered Artoria, however Aqua continued.

"... but you still haven't upheld your end of the bargain" said Aqua while a huge smile formed on her face.

"Huh? B-But-"

"No buts! I am very sad that the king of knights would try to escape from an oath..."

"W-Wait! I am not saying that, how about we do it lat-"

"Impossible! What if something were to happen? Then we would keep pushing it for 'later' over and over again, it must be done now!"

"B-But..."

"Now come here, I answered two questions which means I get to make you try two outfits before choosing which one I want you to wear for the rest of the day." said Aqua while running towards her closet and pulling out two outfits and explaining Artoria that they were tailor made for her.

Artoria was quite confused as to when she got her measurements or when she even had them done since they had been together most of the time, Aqua of course answered by saying 'Where there is a will there is a way, and no will is greater than that of a goddess '.

Artoria wasn't sure if that was the actual answer or if she had just said it to confuse her.

After trying both outfits, Artoria could hear Aqua muttering something while having a completely serious expression on her face.

"I see... just as I expected, the bunny suit focuses on exalting for sexiness while the maid outfit remarks you cuteness...

Very well! I have decided for you to wear..."
