Chapter – 141 (Joining Hestia Familia)

Primis entered the drawing room and saw others had already taken their Seats. Drawing was quite big. There were three long couches placed in three directions with a table in between. As for the last direction, there was just a single sofa chair. Not difficult to guess that it was for the God or Goddess of the Familia to sit.
However, that seat was completely empty. No one sat on it. Primis didn't give it much thought and directly sat on it. No one complained as to them it felt completely natural that Pimis should take the head seat.
Primis: Now then. Lili and Haruhime sit in front of Hestia.
Both nodded and get up. Lunoire and Anya who were sitting there got up and sat where Lili and Haruhime were previously sitting. It's not there wasn't enough space, even if all waitresses sat there along with Lili and Haruhime there would still be place left for two more to sit comfortably. None of them answered and remained silent. Hestia decided to wait for them. Since they didn't reject directly means they were hesitant about something. Room became silent. No one speak for some time. After waiting for some more, Lili and Haruhime made an eye contact with each other before nodding. Lili opened her mouth first.
Lili: Miss Hestia, we don't mind join your Familia but there's something we want to tell you.
Hestia: What is it?
Haruhime: To us our Benefactor and the one who we decided to dedicate our life to is "The Black Swordsman". Hence, we won't be able to give you the same position as him in our heart.
Lili: So, we won't be able to call you Hestia-sama or Lady Hestia but will stick to Miss Hestia.
The room became silent. Not only Ryuu and others opened their eyes wide but even Hephaestus frowned listening this. Gods stood on the top of food chain in not only Danmachi world but the whole Group. And once you joined a Familia then that God held the highest position of all.
Hence Lili and Haruhime words were very rude. It's like they are saying, even if we will come under you and will become stronger because of your help. You will only be our Goddess in name. It doesn't matter even if you are Goddess your position will be lower than Primis who is a mortal. These words are like slap to God face.
Sheng Ming nodded and smiled listening this. Now she had even more favorable impression of Lili and Haruhime. Lili and Haruhime current position are just like how a Knight who had dedicate his very life to his King met an Emperor. That Emperor gave him an offer than he can make him stronger if he will come under him.
However, the Knight answered by saying that he will be willing to come under him, but he will never kneel to him. He will only kneel in front of his King and no one else. Because if he will kneel to Emperor, it means he will lower his King which he was unwilling to do.
That's the same case here. Lili and Haruhime had no intention of lowering Primis position even in front of a God. If there was another God instead of Hestia right now, then that God would have long filled with rage. But Hestia is open-minded and didn't care about such things. She smiled at Lili and Haruhime before saying.
Hestia: You don't need to call me Miss Hestia either. Just Hestia is fine.
Ryuu and others became even more shocked witnessing Hestia easy going attitude. Mortal calling God by its name is extremely disrespectfully.

Hephaestus stopped in the midway of her sentence. She suddenly felt a chill down her spine and cold sweat appeared on her. She turned her gaze in front and saw Primis staring at her. His blood-eye with 3-tomoe in them rose a primal fear in her heart. Primis voice then sounded near her ears.
Primis: This is the matter between Hestia and her soon to be Familia members. Don't interfere and let them talk it through their own.
Hephaestus nodded instantly and decided to keep quiet this time. She had never felt such fear during her entire million's years of life. It's true she had met with Primordial Gods during her time in heaven. But even they didn't make her feel like this. A fear that came from her very soul.
Primis Awakening "God of Destruction" was the one who slaughtered every God without any mercy. Hence, even if he was not using his Awakening, he can still release a wisp of that power to suppress Hephaestus at soul level.
Hestia: So, what's your decision.

Since Ophis had already erased the blessing of Soma and Ishtar from Lili and Haruhime, they didn't need to go through conversion. The method of Conversion is different and needs the consent of both Gods. In the plot, Lili got the consent from Soma and Ishtar was sent to heaven by Freya. Once Ishtar was sent back to heaven, her blessing disappeared too. That's why they were able to join Hestia Familia.
Soon the ceremony of blessing was complete and Hestia Familia emblem appeared on Lili's back. Or so Primis and everyone thought. Primis narrowed his eyes.
Primis: You still hasn't chosen your Familia Emblem.
Hestia: Ehehe. It's my first time giving someone my blessing. So, I need some time to think about what emblem I want to create.
Hephaestus: Hestia, without emblem your Familia won't be accepted by the Guild.

Primis: Forget it. It's a best thing for now.

Primis: The blessing will still work, and they will still become stronger.

When Primis heard from Ryuu and others after returning that Guild didn't take Noble and Gods side who wanted to turn him into wanted criminal for destroying Ishtar Familia, it's enough for him to guess that Ouranos decided to not stand against him.
Hence, if he will ask to give Hestia Familia permission to enter dungeon without registration for one month, he will agree since it's not a big thing. If Primis would have asked for a year, then he might hesitate but not one month.
