Vijay saw red and restrained himself with great effort.

"Do it," Firdaus rasped weakly.

"Shut it, you freak," the Colonel snapped, and there was loud sound of leather hitting flesh. "Just because I haven't gagged you, you don't get the right to open your mouth."

Vijay peeked.

The ever elegant Firdaus Mehta stood bruised and bleeding with his arms tied above his head to a loop suspended from the ceiling, and his feet manacled to the floor, wide apart. Blood covered his body in several places, and red welts looked surreal against his pale skin.

The Colonel lashed Firdaus again and he let out a muffled cry.

"Please stop," Jags begged. "Release him. Take me instead."

"Now you're talking." The Colonel laughed and Vijay got a glimpse of his face.
