However, with the arrival of Alexander himself, he planned to change that. As his shuttle neared the frontlines where Shimrra Jamaane was, Alexander stood near the shuttle doors which were open and watched as his forces clashed against the Yuuzhan Vong forces.
The Yuuzhan Vong were fighting wildly and aggressively, and pain didn't stop them from fighting as they were bonified masochists when it came to pain. If anything, he believed that the pain fueled their fighting spirit and gave them more strength.
Of course, that was just speculation as they didn't know for a fact whether the pain gave them more strength. So, the only way to truly get rid of a Yuuzhan Vong was to make sure that they were dead, their bodies strewn across the battlefield or disintegrated entirely.
Luke and Jais stood beside him, looking down at the battlefield with focused gazes. After their brief battle during the beginning of the war, they had participated in many other battles after that earning them some battlefield experience and showing the results of their training.
Alexander looked over at them, noting the determination in their eyes.
"Are you ready?" Alexander asked them as they both nodded in unison, "Good."
As they neared the landing spot, the Guardian Knights had stood up and lined up behind Alexander prepared for the battle ahead.
"Remember," he said to them, "we fight as one."
Upon touching down, they were immediately met with resistance from Yuuzhan Vong warriors who had noticed their arrival. In response, Alexander raised his lightsaber in the air and charged towards the Yuuzhan Vong.
Like a comet, Alexander plunged into the heart of the enemy formations, his lightsaber carving a trail of light through the masses. His Royal Guards followed suit, their own weapons shining brightly as they cut their way through the chaotic battlefield.
Luke and Jais were right beside him, their lightsabers darting and weaving amongst the enemy lines. They moved in tandem with Alexander trying to keep up with their father.
"Watch out Luke!" Shouted Jais as he swung his lightsaber towards Luke causing him to duck and kill a Yuuzhan Vong who was trying to flank him.
"Thanks!" Luke called back, feeling another warrior who lunged at him from the side.
During all this, Shimrra Jamaane watched as the Terran forces charged into his ranks. His eyes narrowed as he caught sight of Alexander.
He noticed how this person was cutting through his army like nothing and also had capable warriors behind him who followed closely. He had heard reports about this person, the one who was at the very top in terms of power in the Galaxy. He knew this would be a battle unlike any other.
Unsheathing his amphistaff, Shimrra Jamaane let out a war cry and charged towards the enemy. His massive figure moved with surprising speed, slicing through Terran soldiers as he tried to close the distance between him and Alexander.
The battlefield soon turned into a whirlpool of crashing bodies, cries of anguish, and blinding flashes from weapon clashes. Yet, amid this chaotic symphony of battle, Alexander's eyes remained fixed on Shimrra Jamaane. The Supreme Overlord was a beast of a man and Alexander could feel the sheer amount of hatred that he felt.
But Alexander was no stranger to war or its many faces. He moved with purpose and precision, his attacks striking down any in his path. Yuuzhan Vong warriors fell before him in droves, their attempts to halt his advance utterly futile. His sons fought by his side, matching their father blow for blow as they carved their own paths toward the enemy.
Behind them followed the Guardian Knights, their synchronized movements a testament to their years of training and discipline. They were the embodiment of unity and strength; each working seamlessly together to protect and uphold their duty as members of the Order of Guardians.
A loud roar echoed over the battlefield as Shimrra Jamaane came within striking distance of Alexander. Their eyes locked for a brief moment, a moment that seemed to stretch into an eternity. In that fraction of time, all noise seemed to fade away; the sound of the battle receded into background noise.
It was him and Shimrra Jamaane now, two forces colliding in an epic struggle of sheer will and power. The Supreme Overlord swung his amphistaff with savage force, but Alexander deflected the blow with his lightsaber. Their weapons clashed, sending a shockwave of energy around them.
Jais and Luke had instinctively moved to flank their father, providing him coverage as he faced the enemy's leader. As they battled the Yuuzhan Vong warriors that tried to intervene, they could feel the raw energy emitting from the epic duel their father was engaging in.
Alexander's lightsaber danced and spun in his grip, creating a wall of blazing energy that repelled Shimrra Jamaane's powerful strikes. The air seemed to vibrate with the sheer power of their battle. He could see the eyes of Shimrra Jamaane, filled with a burning rage, never leaving him for an instant.
"You and your little empire have ruined everything!" shouted Shimrra Jamaane as the side of his body was hit by a kick from Alexander causing him to stumble.
"You and the rest of the Yuuzhan Vong are just an invasive race from another Galaxy trying to take over ours, I will not allow it!" Alexander retorted as he leapt forward, his lightsaber swinging in a downward arc towards the Supreme Overlord.
Shimrra Jamaane blocked the strike narrowly, using his own amphistaff and parrying Alexander's swing. His massive figure stood tall and defiant in front of Alexander, unyielding and unbroken by his attacks.
"Your end is near, Alexander!" he roared, lunging forward with renewed fury.
But Alexander was relentless. His eyes were clear and focused, his movements fluent and ceaseless. Each attack was met with a swift response, a dance of light and force between two powerful beings.
Jais and Luke, despite their own battles, stole glances at their father's duel every chance they could. They watched as their father dodged, parried and attacked with such grace that it belied the harsh reality of war they were immersed in.
The Guardian Knights continued to fight ferociously against the Yuuzhan Vong forces, their moves synchronized and effective. Their loyalty to Alexander was as strong as their will to protect him. They stood as a united force against an overwhelming enemy, refusing to let even one infiltrate their ranks.
Suddenly, a larger wave of Yuuzhan Vong warriors descended upon them. Shimrra Jamaane, seizing this opportunity, launched a powerful attack towards Alexander. But he was ready. Alexander deflected his blow and retaliated with an even stronger attack, forcing the Supreme Overlord to step back.
At the same time, more Terran forces had arrived as reinforcements. Hundreds of transports descended from the sky along with some fighters for support.
Back to the battle, Shimrra Jamaane swung his amphistaff once more at Alexander. He moved like a beast possessed, his strikes packed with wild anger and desperation. But even his brute force was no match for Alexander's calculated precision and agility. Despite it seeming like they were evenly matched; Alexander was holding back the entire time as he wanted to see just how strong the Supreme Overlord was compared to his men.
However, he was a little disappointed since while the Supreme Overlord was stronger than his men, he was still quite weak compared to Alexander.
"You can't win this, Shimrra!" shouted Alexander over the cacophony of battle. His voice echoed across the battlefield as he delivered another forceful strike that left a deep cut on Shimrra Jamaane's shoulder.
Shimrra Jamaane grunted in pain, but retaliated with a powerful sweep of his amphistaff which was blocked again by Alexander.
"Is this all your strength, Supreme Overlord?" Alexander taunted. He spun and landed a swift kick to Shimrra's midsection, pushing him back once more.
Shimrra Jamaane stumbled but quickly regained his footing. He locked eyes with Alexander, the rage in his gaze burning brighter than ever. "You will fall, Alexander!" he spat out before charging forward once again.
However, Alexander was getting tired of exchanging blows with Shimrra Jamaane. He was ready to end this fight. "Well, your time is up" said Alexander as he shot force lightning out of his fingers towards.
Shimrra tried to dodge the lightning and had successfully managed to do so. However, when he looked back at Alexander, another lightning attack was coming at him. He couldn't dodge it and was hit directly by the lightning.
Shimrra started to laugh crazily as the energy coursed through his body.
His amphistaff was thrown from his grasp, clattering away uselessly. His massive body convulsed then fell to the ground, smoke rising from his body. The battlefield fell into a momentary silence as both the Terran forces and the Yuuzhan Vong watched in disbelief.
But Shimrra was far from done. He pushed himself up onto his knees, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. He looked up at Alexander, his eyes burning with an intense rage and defiance.
Alexander, looking down at Shimrra, raised an eyebrow before speaking again, "You're strong, I'll give you that."
Shimrra spat out a retort, "I will not be defeated so easily."
Alexander smiled hearing his words "But you had the unfortunate luck of running into me"
Shimrra tried to move to continue his fight, but he found that he couldn't move or more like his body was frozen in place. "The Force can be used in a lot of ways, today I'm going to show you one of the ways it can be used," said Alexander. Starting from his feet Shimrra's body started to vanish into thin air leaving behind nothing.
Seeing this a few Yuuzhan Vong had used their rage to break through and rush Alexander, however before they could reach him, their entire bodies vanished in an instant. "I have the power to both create and erase life, as soon as you invaded my Galaxy you were doomed to fail." Stated Alexander as Shimrra continue to try and move his body.
"Noooo… I refuse to die… like this" his efforts to free himself were useless as eventually his entire body vanished. Once he was gone, Alexander turned his attention to the remaining Yuuzhan Vong in the area and focused his attention on each one of them causing them slowly to rise in the air.
The Terran soldiers stopped fighting and looked at the scene in front of them in awe, witnessing the raw power of their Emperor.
The Yuuzhan Vong warriors, suspended in the air, were left flailing like weightless puppets at the command of Alexander. His eyes blazed with an intense glow as he raised his hands and all at once, the Yuuzhan Vong vanished from existence as well. An eerie silence fell over the battlefield as each vanished life echoed with a faint flash in the air.
Everyone held their breath, all gazes fixed on Alexander. Never had they witnessed anything like this before. Even Jais and Luke couldn't help but feel a sense of fear mixed with respect for their father's display of power.
Alexander lowered his hands and turned to face his men. "The battle is won," he declared solemnly.
A collective cheer erupted from the Terran forces. Their joyous cries filled the air, erasing the eerie hush that had fallen upon them moments ago. The Supreme Overlord of the Yuuzhan Vong was dead.
However, the battle wasn't over yet, as the one who was the true mastermind behind the Yuuzhan Vong was still alive.
