Ch 49 – Passionate Return

Soon, the class started like normal as they saw each of their teachers was replaced with someone new as they had to introduce themselves again and again for each new class as they met their new teachers that look quite physically fit for some reason.

'Yawn, school is so exhausting' thought Rintarou as he listened to the class with a hint of boredom but still listened attentively that he can still learn what is being talked about.

'Fuck, it's so awkward here with Alicia, I can still see them giving glances at me' thought Rintarou as he glances at Alicia who wore a cold face like the first time they met as he chuckled in his mind.

*RING*

Soon, a resounding sound of a bell ringing appeared out of nowhere as the whole class cheered and rejoice as their new teacher started to speak.

"Mmm, you are now dismissed, you may now take your lunch break" said the new teacher as the whole class said their goodbyes.

'Ngh' thought Rintarou as he stood up and was about to walk over to Nari but felt Alicia tugging his clothes as he saw her gaze and understood what she wants.

He then looks at Nari with a look that says "I have something to do, sorry" as she nodded and walk away to probably a place to eat the bento box he made for her.

Soon, Alicia also stood up along with Melody and Yuki as they pack up their stuff until Alicia finally finish picking up her stuff as they walk away at the same time leaving both Melody and Yuki having their interest piqued.

Soon, they walk around discretely onto the rooftop and once they reach it, they close the door as he looks behind him to suddenly see Alicia launching at him as she hugs him in a tight squeeze.

"I miss you Rintarou" said Alicia with tears dripping down her eyes as he chuckled and hug her too in response.

"I miss you too, but how?" asked Rintarou in confusion.

"You dummy, you didn't even notice when I was asking you questions about Seoul High, but my father has his ways" said Alicia as she wipes away the tears in her eyes as she smiled in joy.

"Were you surprised? It's my late Christmas gift for you" said Alicia as Rintarou chuckled.

"Of course, I was surprised, but why?" asked Rintarou.

"It's because I love you dummy" said Alicia as she chuckled.

"Aww, I love you too" said Rintarou as Alicia blushed in embarrassment.

"But where do you live? And when did you arrive here?" asked Rintarou.

"Oh, your uncle said he bought a place for me to stay along with Yukiro" said Alicia.

"Yukiro?" asked Rintarou.

"Oh... I mean Yuki" said Alicia with a smile.

"Okay, but why do you live with each other?" asked Rintarou.

"She's my friend back in America" said Alicia.

"Are you best friends?" asked Rintarou.

"You can call it like that, we've known each other since childhood" said Alicia as he notice the slightly peculiar tone she used but put it in the back of his mind.

"But why are you here? There should be more than just meeting me right?" asked Rintarou.

"Sigh, America is currently dangerous right now with the amount of quirk misuse back there" said Alicia as he remembered how instead of school shootings happening in America, it's now the destruction of schools by unstable teenagers with tons dying on a daily basis.

"Oh yeah... but I'm glad you're here with me now where I can protect you" said Rintarou with a smile as Alicia's eyes sparkled with tears of joy as she launches herself to Rintarou and took him into a deep kiss.

But what they did not notice was Nari sitting in the corner of the rooftop watching everything unfold with a blank stare as she was about to eat the bento box that Rintarou gave to her.

As soon as Alicia opened her eyes, she made eye contact with Nari who was on the corner of the rooftop as her eyes widened and instantly stop their kiss and blush in embarrassment.

"Huh? Oh, hello" said Rintarou as he walks over to Nari with a smile as she suddenly blushed in embarrassment.

"W- w- why are you guys suddenly kissing!" said Nari as she peaks over to see Nari blushing in embarrassment on the ground as Rintarou became confused.

"What? Isn't that a perfectly normal thing that friends do?" said Rintarou.

"Friends? But haven't we just met them today?" said Nari in confusion.

"Oh yeah, you just met her today, well I've known her for quite a while now, see, that's us last week" said Rintanrou as he showed them pictures of him and Alicia cuddling on the couch.

"What!?" said Nari in shock.

"Yep, that's me and that's Alicia" said Rintarou as he pointed at himself and Alicia.

"Alicia?" asked Nari.

"Oops, I mean Alice" said Rintarou.

"T- then why are you guys kissing if you guys are friends!" said Nari.

"Don't worry about it, oh yeah, let me introduce you to her. Hey Alice, this is my neighbor by the way, her name's Kim Nari" said Rintarou in a nonchalant tone as if nothing was wrong while Alicia became shocked at what she heard.

"You guys are neighbors!?" said Alicia in shock.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to say this to you but I moved out of my parent's house to be a-" said Rintarou but he suddenly stop his words as he saw Nari's warning with her gaze.

"A… a… a…" said Rintarou but he wasn't able to make up an excuse.

"You don't have to tell me Rintarou, all I know is that I'm here with you and you're here with me" said Alicia with a smile as Rintarou chuckled.

"Mmm... oh yeah, do you have something for lunch?" asked Rintarou.

"N- no" said Alicia with a blush.

"Oh well that's fine, I have luckily another spare bento box as I made a bit too much that there's still left for one more even though I gave two for Nari already" said Rintarou as he took out another bento box as he pointed at the bento box Nari was holding from the side.

"You made the food yourself?" asked Alicia in surprise as they sat down beside Nari.

"Yeah, and Nari could attest to how good it is, isn't that right Nari, I've even cooked for you for a week already" said Rintarou.

"Yeah, Rintarou's cooking is delicious" said Nari as she finally calmed down and decided to think about what just happened later and talk to Rintarou personally once they're back home.

"Woah!" said Alicia in shock as she bit into the sushi as she gasps in shock at how tasty it was.

"Does it taste good?" asked Rintarou.

"Yesh!" said Alicia as she started to chow down on the food while Nari and Rintarou chuckled and ate their own bento box as they enjoyed their lunch break with each other on the rooftop as the sweet refreshing winter breeze made contact with their skin that just made the experience all the more enjoyable.
