Cultivation Pods

Ever since the birth of Xena and Yao, Alyssia had continued with her gene experiments as she collected many types of races or tribes samples and she gained much more after the original timeline began so as she got settled into Rica Island, she had more than enough time and space to set aside some cultivation pods for those experiments and find ways to make more room in other places for ones that take up more space.

Through all of her projects and this one in particular, she was burning through a lot of her berries that she had gained over a long period of time.

At first, she had built normal sized cultivation pods and then moved onto making a couple of giant sized ones that could contain a giant child that was up to the age of six to eight which had been kept in a secret and well guarded warehouse within the walls of Rica Island before most of the giant ones were moved onto the back of Ness.

As time passed and she gained even more samples like those of the various horned, winged, feathered and ancient races she had started to build even more and spread them out among different places like around the Sunken Castle, on the Ark Maxim, on Ness' back or on her own ship which was nearing completion.

In between making many different types of animals for the island on Ness' back, she made enough time and space to start cultivating different types of half breeds of the races she collected.

At first it had started as simpler combinations of humans and the various types she found as she created a male and female for each of them but then she moved onto making combinations of the Mink tribe and those that she had so there were many babies growing just after she setup her base at Rica Island and then she slowly added the other races she collected to them as time had passed so there was a small or large age gap between many of them.

Among the half human artificially created hybrids, Alyssia had made sure to use only the best body types and Lineage Factor as she had chosen many of them to inherit Whitebeard's Lineage Factor while some had been given one from other talented or strong people she had collected samples from.

For some, the quadrupled speed of growth was enough for them to reach two to three years in age and those with the Mink bloodline had a blood relation directly to Alyssia.

Although she left behind many of the Giant, Fishmen, Merfolk, Winged, Tontatta and other combinations on the back of Ness, Alyssia had taken as many as she could along with her.

Alyssia held her two children in her arms as she walked around her laboratory on the MMA and she gazed at the small baby and infant bodies within the cultivation pods.

In two pods there was a male and female modification that had similarities to the feathered tribe which had been modified with the Mink, Fishmen and Merfolk bloodlines as an example and been altered to bring out their animal nature even more.

Rather than feathered people, they became similar to the appearance of a harpy as they seemed to look similar to Monet in appearance after she had her limbs replaced.

In another two chambers by the side, there was a male and female which had the lower body of a snake and the upper body which was human shaped but had lighter scales which were less visible which made them resemble a lamia.

By the side of them was two others who had more of a draconic or prehistoric dinosaur appearance and scales that was mixed with a human build while they also had sharp claws and a tail as they had some similarities to the Beast Pirates ancient hybrid forms.

They were the newest creations that were the youngest among her many modified races and they were all six months old in real time but two years old due to their growth rate.

Each race was named the Harpy, Lamia and Dino tribes and there were many other pods within her laboratory which had been a mix of the different tribes which allowed the Minks to have additional features like long arms, legs, necks, horns, wings or even be half Fishmen or Merfolk which had some similarities to the Sea Beasts but with a more human shaped body while there was even a tiny mixed race of a tontatta and mink which created two mini minks.

Among the latest of the pods which were less than six months old in real time, there was an additional race which had more insect features along with their human body type which she named the insect tribe.

However among her many creations, three newer races along with the Sea Beast tribe were the ones that had the most advantages to them as the Dino tribe had greater power and endurance, the Harpy tribe were better in arial combat and speed, the Lamia had better flexibility and had the use of their venom while the Sea beast tribes advantage was in water whether it be their human body shape or their merfolk body shape.

Each of them had their own tactical advantages just from their individual tribes and would gain additional abilities that were above others which was based on their own type of the creature they took after upon being born from what was within their bloodline or Lineage Factor family tree that had been passed down.

For example the Lamia tribe would take on traits of many different types of snakes, the Harpy tribe would take on traits of many different types of birds, the Dino tribe would take on traits of many different types of dinosaurs while the Sea Beast tribe would take on the appearance of most furry underwater Sea Beasts or creatures so one of them of the Lamia tribe had some similarities to a spitting cobra so she had strong venom, a more powerful bite and could spit her venom at her enemies while the male had a stronger bite and better constricting abilities since it was modelled after a python.

There was also an additional race which was a slightly downgraded version of the Dino tribe which were of the Lizard tribe but those each had their own uniqueness as chameleons and other types could blend into their environment, regrow a tail after removing it or inherit other traits depending on their race.

Alyssia lightly tapped on the strong glass screen as she gazed at each of the new life forms inside each of the cultivation pods. "Grow up quickly so you can protect your older.. or younger brother and sister."

The small hand of Xena stretched out cutely in her mothers arms as she said in a small cute voice. "Baba!"

Afterwards a smaller voice followed which was just as cute but less fluent. "Bu."

Xena and Yao had grown older and were already around eleven months old so they were technically older than their brothers and sisters within the pods but they had been born and grown more naturally compared to the many within the pods who had their growth speed increased so there was a slight bit of confusion in Alyssia's voice as she spoke about the seniority of the children.

As she left the room with Xena and Yao, the small children inside the pods showed a little movement as they responded to Alyssia's presence who was close by.

Among the females of each of the tribes that were within the pods there was a cobra lamia, a crow harpy, a velociraptor dino and a sea rabbit sea beast while within the males there was a python lamia, a falcon harpy, a parasaurolophus dino and sea cow sea beast which had shown more activity and energy than the others even though they were younger than the others while the hornet female and mantis male of the insect tribe and the mouse female and cat female of the mini beast tribe each showed the least movement among them all.

While Alyssia was arranging for the crew members which had already reached the surface to head towards a specific island, Alyssia took the MMA and headed in another direction as she brought Ghost along with herself.
