Tang Yuxin finally closed her eyes and held Gu Ning's hand tightly. In just a short while, she had already fallen asleep. She slept soundly and fell asleep very quickly, often drifting off the moment she closed her eyes; her consciousness soon became blurry.
She was very tired, and so she slept deeply and even began to snore lightly, which showed just how important this rest was for her.
It wasn't until Tang Yuxin opened her eyes that she felt a bit confused. She glanced out the window to see darkness outside. Was it not yet dawn? If the day hadn't broken, she could sleep a little longer. But as she closed her eyes, ready to drift back to sleep, she suddenly sat up.
"Awake?" Gu Ning walked in, carrying a hot water bottle; he had guessed that Tang Yuxin would probably be awake by now. She never slept for more than two hours at a time, and he had checked the time before coming in. Indeed, she was awake and seemed to be in good spirits.
