After putting down his phone, Connor glanced at Yama beside him.

Based on what Chelsea had just said, Connor could confirm that his father indeed had a bodyguard named Yama. However, as Yama himself had mentioned, he had already passed away twenty years ago. This matched the information he received from Yama.

Thus, Connor suspected that the person beside him might indeed be his father's bodyguard. The fact that this person had never shown hostility and had multiple opportunities to harm Connor lent some credibility to his story.

Though he was leaning towards believing Yama's claim, he still couldn't fully trust him. With a gentle tone, he said, "Since you've found me now, you don't need to continue scavenging for a living. I'll take you to a hotel and get you a room. You can stay there."

"Sure!" Yama replied without hesitation.
