When Hyperman left, the group was very confused, and Victoria was very shocked. They asked her what he meant by try not to die, and she reluctantly told them that she was doing something with her magic which, if it worked, would boost her strength greatly, and if it didn't, well, death was very likely.

The others tried to dissuade her but Gideon simply nodded. He knew that something like this was very necessary, like when he was trying to break his limit. It was something she had to do. Besides, he was sure he could stop her from dying even though she didn't tell them the details of what she was doing.

Victoria was very happy about this and hugged Gideon. She'd been expecting him to try and tell her off the most as he was closest with her, so him not actually arguing was a pleasant surprise.
