"I am grateful she pulled through, but I still can't believe this," Knox murmured.

Dustin maintained his stoic silence while Xanth appeared lost in thought. After lunch, they prepared to leave when a pineapple head appeared before them, blocking their path.

"Look at these three hooligans! The great dead body discoverers and girl savers! You think you have become heroes in one night?" Pineapple sneered, unwrapping the dark chocolate. If he hadn't hit the sack at eight O'clock yesterday night, he would be the one receiving the praises in their place.
