A Strange Way To Sign Off Of A Phone Call

Hailey felt too good to be true. How had someone who didn't mind Dallin rambling or his "girly" hobbies and liked his dog fallen into his lap like this? 

She wanted to hang out with him every day and no one had ever wanted to do that. He really didn't get it.

She didn't care about constantly being entertained either. A lot of the time, they both did their own thing in the same room. She just wanted to be near him. Nobody had ever been like that aside from Pepper. 

It was as flattering as it was confusing. Hailey never specifically said that she liked Dallin but she acted like she did between constantly hanging out with him and laughing and smiling so much at things he said. 

"How do you know when a girl likes you?" he ended up asking on a phone call with his parents a couple of weeks into hanging out with Hailey.
