And as usual, she starts reading about the rules of her Rurik clan which were as follows:-

1) They should only feed on human blood and body with evolution

2) They should never get attracted towards any human or vampires or else they will start losing their power as the most important power of their clan is immorality and if that happens, they will be killed by the clan leader without any hearings or cases

3) They have to hunt a human being every week or else their diet cycle will get unbalanced which can harm their powers

4) They should always keep their locket made out of the special liquid so that their enemies couldn't identify them or else they can kill them as their biggest enemies are vampires and the most supreme amongst them is the Sochi clan and after them, Punic clan was their biggest enemies instead of being a werewolf

5) They should always prey their supreme Lord whose name is Lord Dajan as he is the one who formed their clan around 1500 years back and it is important to maintain the powers of them which not only includes immortality, but also some special powers like healing factor, night vision, shape-shifting, superhuman agility, strength, endurance, senses, speed and many more in the list

6) They should not possess or showcase any kind of supernatural powers before anyone while roaming freely in the world of human's as it can be dangerous for their survival while being in exile

And slowly she gets tired of reading about everything and starts feeling sleepy and accordingly, she lies on her bed but even after half an hour she was unable to sleep hence she decided to take walk for sometimes as some fresh air might help her out to fall asleep

Because of the same reason she now gets out of her room and starts walking in the garden of her building premises, but suddenly she feels as if someone stabbed her because of which she screams as loudly as possible to ask for help

But soon she ends up getting up on her bed and was sweating heavily which makes her realize that it was just a dream and so she now goes to her washroom to take bath because it has been her habit since childhood that if she wakes up at midnight due to any reason, she was unable to sleep again properly because of which she starts getting strokes and other issues

To avoid any such issues, she rather takes bath so that she can cool down her body temperature and hence also tries to keep the room as cool as possible so that she can sleep quickly to avoid any issues in her daily life due to the unwanted problems and hence she does the same and goes to her bed again and puts the AC at 1° so that room should get cool enough and she could sleep quickly without any further problems

But suddenly she stumbles upon a very low voice once again which was almost inaudible but due to night she can hear that flat voice and hence starts finding the source of that voice and while doing same, she reaches outside her building where she can only see stuff which was illuminated by the lamp post in the garden whereas everything beyond that seems dark and scary

And suddenly that voice also stops and when Scarlett now turns around to get inside her building, she again hears that voice which was now coming from the dark and scary place which was beyond the illuminated area around the building and the voice now starts getting more clear and loud so that a person can hear it without any difficulty

And she now tries to get what that voice was trying to convey as she stumbles upon the fact that the voice was trying to convey something to its listener which was as follows:-

"makadagan ka, apan dili ka makatago gikan Kanako"

But Scarlett was unable to decode anything as she was hearing something like this for the very first time in her life because of which she gets baffled and pinches herself to reconfirm that she was not in a dream but has come back to reality and everything was real but still she was unable to believe what exactly was happening in her surroundings and that too all of a sudden in such a short period

But before she could go any further towards the voice suddenly there appears one of her close friends from her floor named Laura who takes her inside the building and while getting her inside the building, Scarlett notices a trace of fear and scare on the face of Laura upon which Scarlett questions her

"Are you alright ?, Is everything fine ?, I mean ..."

But before she could complete her sentence suddenly Laura interrupts in between," Yes, I am perfectly fine"

But still, she looked a little worried which was very much visible with her way of speaking as she was fumbling while completing her sentence upon which Scarlett holds her hands and asks," You are hiding something from me, isn't it ?"

And soon after listening to her statement suddenly Laura starts speaking,"Every night, no matter the weather, something walks outside our building and that too on the other side of the street whistling softly, you can only hear it if you're in the living room or the kitchen when they walk by and it always starts at exactly 3:03, the sound starts faint, somewhere near the beginning of the lane which is situated just outside the garden of our building named Larson lane, but the only rule that you have to keep in mind is that don't try to look at whatever is whistling"
