Chapter 195- Addie – The First Week Continues Part 2 (VOLUME 3)

**ADDIE'S POV**

I was just getting ready to leave my office, when there was a knock on the door. I wasn't expecting anyone, and it was late at night, so they initially took me by surprise. Then, after just a moment, the scent caught up to me, and I knew who it was.

"Come in." I called out to him, looking up, as I slid the papers across my desk.

"Oh, good evening, Professor Nolan." Kenna said happily as she looked at him. She was less familiar with his scent than I was. Understandable of course. "Shall I get you some tea?"

"That won't be necessary." He smiled at me. "I decided to be the one to bring Professor Addie her dinner this evening. I also wanted to check on how things have been going."

"Oh, that is nice of you." She looked at the food longingly, she had missed her meal as well.

"Kenna, you can leave for the night. Go get your meal before it's too late."

"Are you sure?" She looked uncertain about that, like she didn't want to shirk her responsibilities.
