**ADDIE'S POV**

The leader of the Vampires seemed to be the man with the gravelly voice that we heard earlier. At least, he was the one that had started the conversation after Professor Lane's comment about Nolan and I.

"You just don't know what is good for you, do you?" The man looked at me with a glare that was not far from the one on Professor Lane's face. Actually, they were all sneering or glaring at me like I was some sort of disgusting creature that was dragged in by a cat or something. Not that people owned cats in this world all that much, just the humans from time to time.

"And what do you think is good for me, huh?" I asked as I looked up at the man in anger. My shock at seeing them had faded very quickly.

"You should have drank your tea. That is what was best for you." Professor Lane said with an angry howl. "Then you wouldn't be here to mess things up for the rest of them."
