Future and Present

With Surtr's apparent victory and absorption of Miraak's soul, all of the First Dragonborn's brainwashed subjects were transferred over to Surtr, as he now held his soul. His body crackled with unused power as Louise and Joseph descended to the ground and stepped off of the backs of their dragons, each kneeling before him while the dragons above roared triumphantly for their new master.

"I live to serve." Joseph all but grovels with his head lowered as Surtr comes down from his sudden power trip. He quirks a cautious brow at the man, remembering well the power he and his mages had used in Solstheim.

He turns his attention the silent pink-haired girl next him, "Well? Will you join me or not, girl?" he growls while flexing his fingers, feeling as if he could flick the city away if he wished...

She looks up and locks eyes with him, "Only if you accept my one request." she states determinately.

"Hmph, and what would that be? Why shouldn't I just cut your tongue out for questioning me here and now?"

"Because I am strong and worth the trouble." she announces with certainty.

...

"Your request?" he asks, cutting to the chase.

"I want to be the one to kill Michael Hunt."

...

"Michael Hunt?" Surtr asks in confusion, he was pretty sure he knew who she meant, but the deviation from the name was something he'd not heard before... Last names weren't something common in Skyrim, so did that mean Michael was actually from a clan? Perhaps a clan of hunters?

Louise wets her lips in irritation, "Michael Hunt, Michael Tahlin, it doesn't matter. I just want him dead. Is that arrangement agreeable with you?"

"More than agreeable. But since you know more about him than I, you should tell me more... Tell me about him and his past, why he has your animosity, and if there are any weaknesses we can take advantage of. We both know how difficult killing him may actually be, especially now that he's a Daedric Prince."

"A Daedric Prince!?" Louise blurts out in surprise, she'd not heard that before, indeed the only things abut Daedra she knew were from Miraak, who explicitly told her to stay well away from them or any mention of them. She knew they were supposedly evil gods, somehow more powerful than even Brimir at his prime...

Surtr nods, "He ascended and took the place of Clavicus Vile from what I have heard, the Daedric Prince of Power, Deals, and Contracts."

...

"So he's a god... How do we beat him...?" Louise utters despairingly.

"How else? To fight a god we require the aid of a god..."

...

----------------------------

With Miraak's defeat, Surtr continues his brainwashing tour, controlling Whiterun after Jarl Balgruuf attempts to give his gratitude in front of the city. With the influx of power Miraak's soul granted him, using Bend Will constantly wasn't much of an issue, indeed he barely made a sweat after a constant half an hour of use.

Controlling the rest of the Holds was easy enough, especially with his new dragons and servants' help. Louise' ability to open teleportation gates to different parts of Skyrim on expedited the process. After all of that was done he turned his attention to the Empire, intending to take it completely before making a play for Winterhold and Michael.

In the meantime Michael was actually off in other worlds, none of them was familiar but some he the specification he wished for... All worn-torn, apocalyptic, and overall shit shows with huge populations of innocents that would cut off their legs if the option of salvation was given.

They also provided him with some limited opportunities to gather EXP, which he was finding increasingly difficult to gather... All he really wanted was enough to be able to use Thundergod's Wrath to kill all of his annoying enemies at once, but it seemed that he was in the big leagues now, meaning he'd have to kill some big league guys to gain anything meaningful.

The titans were basically shards of a Ymir's divinity, so he'd probably need to start fighting gods, or at least pieces of them to advance any faster than snail's pace.

Regardless, his actions had created many problems for Winterhold, the first being that the town simply didn't have enough homes to house the influx of refugees. While most would be grateful to sleep in a shit-filled pig pen, Ennura and the other residents would rather give up their own homes than let that happen... Most of Winterhold knew well the difficulty of abandoning their world to seek better pastures.

He'd seen Tiffania watching him lead people through Dimension Gates, and knew she was aware of his actions due to the influx of orphans that she was attending, so hopefully she'd his attempts at making things right... Even if he'd ended up killing even more people during these rescues than he did in Marley...

Speaking of which, once he finally took the chance to sit down at home, he found himself staring at a strange sight... Ymir lying on Eren and Mikasa's laps on the couch while they and Armin watch through the Attack on Titan anime...

Eren's eyes were dull while Armi just cried his eyes out, all while Mikasa tried her best to soothe them. Apparently, learning that Eren, or 'Future-Eren' was responsible for basically everything bad that'd happened to them was a big shock.

Mikasa was just as affected as Eren at the discovery that he'd been the one responsible for her foster family's death. Thankfully for everyone involved, they knew that present Eren wasn't responsible for any of it. He'd not touched royalty, nor had he discovered his ability to send his memories back... Right now he couldn't even summon his titan again so it would be laughable to hold him in contempt...

"So, how're you guys faring?" he asks as the anime finale ends, the scene of a pregnant Mikasa and Jean almost sending Eren into a rage, much to the Ackerman's not-so-hidden delight.

Hope you bois liked the chap, if I missed anything please let me know. Thanks!
